Johnny Depp: People's Choice Favorite Movie Actor

Making a surprise appearance to the delight of the crowd, Johnny Depp turned up for the 2011 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 5).

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor wandered into the Nokia Theatre while taking a moment to chat with host Queen Latifah before the gig got underway.

Always a fan favorite, Johnny unsurprisingly ended up taking home a little hardware during the course of the ceremony.

Depp beat out the competition to take home a trophy honoring him as the Favorite Movie Actor for his work over the past year.
