Every year the Grammy Awards are as much about the performances -- and the outrageous fashions! -- as about the actual winners. So, it's always key that they rope in big-name artists to help put on an eye-popping show.
Luckily, fan favorites Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Eminem have all signed on to perform at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards. MTV News reports that these nominees will join Cee Lo Green, Arcade Fire and Miranda Lambert in taking the stage at the Staples Center on Feb. 13.
Lady Gaga -- who's won two Grammys in the past and is currently nominated for six -- opened the 2010 Grammy Awards in a widely publicized duet with Sir Elton John. The memorable performance will be hard to top, but we're guessing she has a few tricks up her stylish sleeves.
Fellow performer Eminem is up for 10 Grammy awards -- the most of any artist. It's just too bad the rapper says he doesn’t date. We’re sure a lot of ladies would love to be the top-nominee’s arm candy for an evening!
In other awards show news, comedian Tyler Perry leads the way in NAACP Image Award nominations. USA Today reports that both of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s kids, Jaden, 12, and Willow, 10, are up for awards, as well.
Best actress nominees include Janet Jackson, Halle Berry, Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana. Denzel Washington, Anthony Mackie, Common, Morgan Freeman and Jaden Smith are all up for best actor.
Other notable nominees include Rihanna, Kanye West, Sofia Vergara, Nicki Minaj and Justin Timberlake. The NAAPC Image Awards will air March 4.
