'Spy Kids 4' Inspired By Jessica Alba's Diaper Duty, Robert Rodriguez Says

'She gets to show the actual trials of dealing with a baby while having a career,' director tells MTV News.

Over the course of MTV News' Summer Movie Preview Week, we've featured popcorn superhero flicks ("Captain America" and "Green Lantern"), hard-R comedies ("Bad Teacher" and "30 Minutes or Less"), rebooted franchises from the past ("Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "Conan the Barbarian") and much more. But we haven't yet focused on movies aimed at kids.

All that changes on Friday (April 29). We'll be rolling out an exclusive clip from "Kung Fu Panda 2" this afternoon, and right now, we're bringing you an exclusive chat with Robert Rodriguez, the writer/director of "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World," the first film in the series since 2003. The new movie introduces new characters — including Jessica Alba as a spy mom — but also stays true to the original mythology and integrates familiar faces from earlier installments. In this way, Rodriguez told us, "Spy Kids 4" is not so much a reboot as a sequel with fresh talent.

In a wide-ranging conversation, he laid out extensive plot details, explained why these films continue to be appealing a decade after they were first introduced and the surprising (and kind of gross) inspiration that led to the movie, which hits theaters in 3-D on August 19.

MTV News: It doesn't matter if you're doing something like "Machete" or a "Spy Kids" movie, you've always got some tricks up your sleeve. How are you going to wow us with "Spy Kids 4"?

Robert Rodriguez: Man, I can't say everything just yet! There are going to be some things you'll see and go, "Hey, why didn't he tell me that?" You know, we did three of these movies, and then stopped because the kids were getting older. But families still come up to me and say they're watching them, so 10 years later, it felt right to do another one. I got the idea when I was making "Machete" and Jessica came over to my house for lunch with the kids, and she was bringing her daughter out of the backseat. But her diaper had exploded and the kid had made a huge mess and just seeing Jessica dressed up, so beautiful and glamorous, but having to deal with this baby with an exploded diaper, I just thought, "I'd love to see her as a spy mom." I wrote it around her and figured she'd have two new stepkids who don't think their mom is cool, but she's really a spy and their dad plays a spy hunter on a TV show and doesn't know his wife is a spy. There's a robot dog and a spy baby and a new villain, played by Jeremy Piven. And I was looking at my own kids and how quickly time is going by and how you wish you could freeze a moment, so the villain is the Timekeeper, and he is taking time from people and the world is getting faster.

MTV News: Amazing! All of this, born from one dirty diaper.

Rodriguez: That's the thing. Sometimes storytelling is very visual and it inspires you. Then you build and you build, and suddenly you have a movie you're excited to make. You forget it's the fourth one. Oh, and the original spy kids show up, and they're in their 20s. They're the older spies who are trying to reopen the spy agency, which got shut down because of budgetary reasons. Jessica plays Antonio Banderas' younger sister, so she's still part of the original family. She's the aunt of the original spies. It's not really a reboot, so much as a sequel with new kids. And the Timekeeper, he takes time away from you if you're not spending it with your family, because of a personal thing he went through. It's a pretty cool villain plot, because he's not really a villain. And Jessica is so awesome as the spy mom.

MTV News: Yeah, we just saw that first picture of her with the baby strapped to her chest, but she's still wearing her badass spy gear.

Rodriguez: Yeah, the badass spy gear! The opening scene is a flashback where she's about to give birth to the baby. The day she quit being a spy was the day she gave birth, so she's on her last mission, nine months pregnant, on her way to the hospital and still catching the bad guy. So she's repelling, sliding across the cars. Anyone who's been pregnant will tell you: "You're not supposed to do that!"

MTV News: We haven't really seen Jessica in a mature role like this, playing a mom. Did you have a sense that she wanted to take that next step in her career?

Rodriguez: Yeah, I think she liked the idea, because she got married young and had the baby young, so she was dealing with the whole baby situation when we had this idea. We thought it would be a perfect way to deal with what her life is really like, except in this, she's an ass-kicking badass. She gets to show the actual trials of dealing with a baby while having a career.

MTV News: Being that there's a connection between her situation and her character's, did she help build this character and pitch in ideas?

Rodriguez: Completely. She's very collaborative. She said, "I really want to be funny. I should do this, I should do that. I think when I'm with the kids, this is the kind of game I'd play with them." She really brought a lot to the table. She knows children and what would come off best for the character.

MTV News: You've got a lot of funny actors in this one, like Joel McHale.

Rodriguez: Joel McHale, he's awesome! He really is a scene-stealer. He brings you ad libs. Even if it's written, you look at the script and go, "Oh, he just made it sound funnier." Sometimes I'd tell him just the concept of the scene, and he'd ad lib 30 things and they're all funny. The hard part is figuring out which one to use.

MTV News: Do you see this as the start of a whole new trilogy?

Rodriguez: We'll see what happens with number four. I know they want to make more of them. The reason these movies do well is that there's not many live-action films that are very empowering to children. Parents could never understand it, but that's why Power Rangers are so popular — because there are kids beneath those suits. Kids like and support anything that empowers and supports them. It's a powerful idea to know you can be a kid but also a spy and you can strap on a jetpack and fly around the world and not have to have your mom drive you to the mall.

It's Summer Movie Preview Week, and MTV News will be bringing you exclusive interviews, clips and photos for the most anticipated films of the coming months. Get ready to gorge on inside looks at "Captain America," "The Hangover Part II," "X-Men: First Class," "Cowboys & Aliens" and more.

Check out everything we've got on "Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World."

William and Kate's Royal Wedding Reception

Their wedding ceremony was no doubt straight from a fairytale, and Prince William and Kate Middleton's reception brought out all the stops.

Following their historical nuptials earlier today (April 29), the newlywed Royals enjoyed mingling with their guests at the Buckingham Palace while feasting away at menu items such as Cornish Crab Salad on Lemon Blini, Pressed Duck Terrine with Fruit Chutney and Scottish Smoked Salmon Rose on Beetroot Blini, just to name a few of the swanky dishes.

Their towering cake was an unbelievable sight as the official baker, Fiona Cairns, created an absolute masterpiece designed specifically for the Prince and his new Princess.

And as she did earlier in the day, Kate stunned her guests in a jaw-dropping dress custom designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen.

Charlie Sheen: 'Two and a Half Men' Is Dead Without Me

Charlie Sheen: 'Two and a Half Men' Is Dead Without Me

If Charlie Sheen was hoping to regain his place on the sitcom Two and a Half Men, it looks like his bargaining tactics leave a little bit to be desired.

With the news that CBS may be planning to move forward with a Charlie Sheen-free Two and a Half Men, the vitriolic actor has lashed out yet again, firing off an open letter to series creator Chuck Lorre via his favorite messenger: TMZ, which has posted the insult-laden epistle in full.

In the letter, Sheen refers to Lorre as a "sad silly fool," "a narcissist, a coward, a loser, a spineless rat" and a "low rent, nut-less sociopath" -- among others. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. He rails against Two and a Half Men, writing: "No one cares about your feeble show without me... I'm out here with my fans every night. The message is crystal clear. NO CHARLIE SHEEN. NO SHOW. And that's exactly what it will be for you and your desperate vanity cards, every Monday night, a no-show."

Sheen goes even further into personal territory in the letter, sneering at Lorre's for being a part of a "pathetic AA loser lounge" and even stating that "they are planning on voting you off the AA island. Even those clowns have no room for you anymore." Alcoholics Anonymous works, in part, because AA members trust that their anonymity will be protected, so this is a very dirty tactic from Sheen -- though not a surprising one. Sheen closes his loving missive with, "You've been warned. Reap the whirl-wind you cockroach, reap it."

Sheen's fight with Lorre has been brutal and public -- he even wants the $100 million lawsuit he has brought against the producers at CBS to skip arbitration and be tried in public. (On this subject, Sheen's letter states: "I'll beat your chicken s*** soul in a court room into a state of gratitude.") And, although Sheen insists in his letter that the show will be a failure without him, a lawyer for Warner Bros. has already unequivocally shot down rumors that Charlie is in talks to rejoin Men.

Even if Sheen did somehow worm his way back onto the show, wouldn't it be a little tense having to work for a man you referred to as a "low rent nut-less sociopath"? How will that play out, Charlie? The "whirlwind" here is Sheen's and Sheen's alone to reap.

'American Idol' In 60 Seconds: Casey Abrams' Last Showmance

The Carole King songbook results in Abrams' second elimination of the season.
By Jim Cantiello

This week on "American Idol," the top six sang from the Carole King songbook, but the real theme of the night was showmances: Casey and Haley! Lauren and Scotty! Lauren and ... this dude [random audience guy]! Lauren and Steven Tyler! [Clip of Steven Tyler with a little blond toddler on his lap.] Damn, girl, are you trying to audition for "The Real World" or something?

But if we're talking musical promiscuity, Casey Abrams was the real "Hi De Ho." Pianos, trumpets, saxes, harmonicas ... The only thing he didn't hook up with was a melody.

Sit, Ubu, sit! Good dog. [Footage of Casey screaming plays with the sound of the Ubu "bark" from that '80s sitcom vanity plate.]

James Durbin had his best week yet but the brightest star on "Idol" was crazy Penny Marshall. [Jim is in a blond wig and sunglasses]. She is my inspiration.

I want to be her friend, I want to be Scotty's friend, and I really want to be Haley's fu-uh-riend, too.

Yo, Randy, why don't we "turn the other cheek" to Thursday night's results show, where Jimmy Iovine gave his two cents, and Haley told him where he could shove his two cents!

[Clip: Seacrest introduces Crystal Bowersox, but then the camera cuts to a burly male harmonica player.]

Whoa, Crystal really let herself go, didn't she? But Arrested Development hasn't aged a bit! [Footage of Bruno Mars and his 45-piece backing band, who were all sitting on a couch.]

And results!

There's your fake bottom three [the last contestants standing], there's your real bottom three [Lauren, Casey and Jacob sitting on the couch from earlier in the episode].

[Jim holds out a microphone as if he's a sports reporter on the field after the Super Bowl.] Hey, Casey Abrams! You just got cut from "Idol" for the second time. What are you going to do now?

[Jim shouts in a Casey voice.] "I'm going to Creepy World!" [Footage of him grabbing girls by the back of the neck and pulling them in for a kiss during his farewell performance.]

Ding!

Victoria Beckham, one of the wedding's guests, even put her two cents in, giving fans an inside view of the fairytale-like ceremony. "London looks beautiful!!!" she shared. "We are so proud to be British! X VB x."

The pregnant singer attended the wedding in a loose-fitting navy gown, with a fancy hat atop her head. She was joined by her hubby, David Beckham, who wore a very formal tux. 30 Seconds To Mars Reveal New Single To Be 'Night Of The Hunter'

Band broke the news about fan-favorite track during our 30STM 'State of the Union' live stream.
By James Montgomery

During our "State of the Union" live stream on Thursday night, 30 Seconds to Mars spoke at length about their past (Jared Leto's Kurt Cobain fascination), their present (Friday's headlining slot at the Bamboozle Festival) and, of course, their future.

And when it came time to discuss that last point, they took the opportunity to break a bit of news: They'd chosen "Night of the Hunter" as the next single off This Is War. And yes, they're very happy about it. Because, ever since they released their album in late 2009, they've been battling to get the song heard.

"We never thought this would happen, but we think it's going to be our next single in the States. There's always a song that fans latch onto, that the real music-lovers and the listeners [latch onto]," 30STM frontman Jared Leto told MTV News. "And this is the one, early on ... when we asked, 'What do you think should be a single?' [fans] always mention this, but people didn't quite think that this was the one at the time — some of the people at the record company or at radio stations — but they've warmed up to it, and now it's really fun to have a song that's eclectic and different to be a single."

In short, it's the kind of song a band has to earn the right to release. And 30STM have certainly done that. So now, their favorite track — Leto said it "encapsulates everything about 30 Seconds to Mars that we are interested in, musically" — is set to be released to radio ... with an appropriately epic video, of course.

"I would love to make a video for 'Night of the Hunter,' because I think it's one of the most cinematic songs on the record; when we play it live onstage, it always evokes imagery to me," Leto said. "The song really grew from ... my brother and I were born in Louisiana, we had a single mom ... who, at the time, was a high school dropout living in the South, [so we] really didn't have very much in terms of materialistic things. And although we moved out of the South when we were kids — you know, we joke we kind of climbed out of the muddy banks of the Mississippi River with food stamps in one hand and our instruments in the other — our mother helped carve a new life for us. And I think that song has some spirit of the South in it; some kind of American Gothic feel."

Are you glad to hear there will be a video for "Night of the Hunter"? Tell us in the comments!

Ten years ago, Baz Luhrmann brought us into the world of the "Moulin Rouge," a sexy, musical take on the subculture of turn-of-the-century Paris based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. It starred Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman and featured over-the-top costumes and reinventions of modern songs from "Lady Marmalade" to "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

To commemorate that movie's 10th anniversary, MTV News reunites Luhrmann, Kidman and McGregor to celebrate "Moulin Rouge at 10: A Spectacular Spectacular MTV News Event" on Monday, May 2, at 3 p.m. ET on MTV.com. The director and stars will be joined by co-star John Leguizamo, who played artist Toulouse-Lautrec, and Catherine Martin, who won the Oscar for costume design and art direction. Hosted by MTV News' Josh Horowitz, the live stream will include special appearances and live interviews while looking back at how the film came to be and how its legacy continues to grow.

To get in on the fun, fans can submit questions for the "Moulin Rouge" director and talent via the @MTVNews Twitter handle with the hashtag #AskMoulin.

The film premiered in 2001, quickly permeated pop culture and reinvented the modern movie musical. Its influence can still be seen today with the success of musical television shows like "Glee" and "American Idol." It's also had an impact on fashion, graphic design and style.

The film was nominated for eight Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Nicole Kidman, and it won two, for art direction and costume design. It was the first musical nominated for Best Picture in 22 years. "Moulin Rouge" also took home two MTV Movie Awards for Best Musical Sequence (Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor) and Best Female Performance (Nicole Kidman).

Kate Middleton?s Wedding Day Hair & Makeup

With millions of people looking on, Kate Middleton had to look absolutely perfect at her wedding today to Prince William. And she did.

According to a report, the newly ennobled Duchess of Cambridge decided to stick with her longtime hairstylist James Pryce of the Richard Ward Salon for her coif.

An insider told press, "Kate wanted to look like herself on her wedding day. She told salon owner Richard Ward, 'William must recognize me by the time I get to the altar.'"

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, "Kate had around four or five tryouts. She brought along photos of the styles she liked and showed them to James. Hairstyle tests were then done in a top-secret location. Kate was very pleased with the result."

Regarding her makeup, it is rumored that Kate did it herself using Bobbi Brown products. Beauty specialist Sarah Chapman explained, "Her complexion was perfect and her makeup completed the fluidly femininity of her soft look. She carried off the English rose look well with fresh rosy cheeks and nude lips that were balanced by her strong eyes and glossy dark hair. You can tell she looks after her skin very well, which allows her to pull off a natural look."

Justin Bieber To Co-Star With Mark Wahlberg In Street Ball Movie

Movie inspired by Bieber's participation in a charity basketball game held during NBA's All-Star weekend.

Justin Bieber already has one of the top-grossing documentaries of all time with "Never Say Never." And he's gotten his feet wet doing a little acting on "CSI." So it just stands to reason that his next move is to full-on star in a movie, right?

Enter superfan Mark Wahlberg, who knows a thing or two about making the transition from teenybopper pinup to movie-opening star. Wahlberg — who in August said, "the world needs Justin Bieber ... Justin Bieber is like the white Tupac" — told New York magazine this week, "Justin Bieber and I are going to do a movie together."

That's right. Wahlberg said he's in talks with Paramount on the project and hopes to set the film up at the studio following his Academy Award-winning flick "The Fighter." But most importantly, Bieber is reportedly way into it and is excited to sign on for the project. "He loves the idea," Wahlberg said. "He's been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he's really talented."

Wahlberg described the movie as a drama in which he would play a "reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment," but cautioned that neither he nor Bieber will sing or dance in the film. In fact, last August Wahlberg said he wouldn't break his nearly two-decade-long hip-hop silence ... unless Bieber asked him to.

Deadline Hollywood reported that the untitled drama is an exploration of street basketball in which Bieber will get a chance to show off his dramatic chops. Wahlberg and partner Stephen Levinson will produce alongside Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. The script is being written by Ian Edelman, creator of HBO's "How to Make It in America."

"The tone of the project is described as 'The Color of Money' meets 'The Karate Kid,' and it came out of Wahlberg and Levinson seeing Bieber play ball in February during a celebrity game held during NBA All-Star Game weekend," Deadline reported.

Bieber has clearly been bitten by the acting bug. In September he raved about his guest appearance on "CSI" as Jason McCann. "I liked it because you never knew what was going to happen. Now that I'm on it, it's pretty cool," he said of the show. "It opens a different audience to the show," he explained of his appearances, "and it also helps me because a new audience that might not know me is now going to see me. So it works both ways."

Ja Rule Promises To End Twitter War With 50 Cent

'It's not important to me anymore,' Rule tells Sway on 'RapFix Live.'
By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway

When it comes to hip-hop beefs, the one between Queens rappers Ja Rule and 50 Cent will go down as one of the biggest and most violent.

Though the feud has been mostly dormant for some years, 50 and Ja have gone tit for tat over Twitter, volleying barbs back and forth. Most recently, on March 23, 50 ridiculed Ja after news broke that Rule pleaded guilty to tax evasion. "I wouldn't expect anything different from a ho ass n---a like @50cent," Ja tweeted back.

On Wednesday's "RapFix Live," the former Murder Inc. MC told Sway he will no longer indulge in Twitter beef with the G-Unit General.

"Sway, I promise you, he can get on Twitter right now and say, 'Ja you bitch ass n---a,' and I'm gonna say, 'Good for you, young man. I wish you well,' " Ja said.

In addition to swearing off online disses, the "Put It on Me" rapper said while he doesn't regret being involved in a beef with 50, if he had the chance, he wouldn't have involved others like Game, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Lloyd Banks in his war. "I think a lot of people got wrapped up in my and 50's whole nonsense," Rule said. "For that, I would've done that differently, maybe. My beef was with one dude; I'mma keep it with that dude. I'm not gonna drag in this person and that person."

Overall, Ja said he's over the beef: "Those old feelings are gonna bring back more old emotions and more old feelings. "It's not important to me anymore."

Do you think Ja and 50 will go at it again? Let us know in the comments.

Ke$ha Wants 'Till The World Ends' Remix To 'Take Over Airwaves'

Singer says her collaboration with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj made a 'supergroup of three hot, strong women.'

Earlier this week, Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj dropped their femme-fatale-friendly remix of the Spears club track "Till the World Ends." The already fun song got super-charged thanks to Minaj's cutting verses and Ke$ha's recognizable vocals.

"I'm a massive fan of both the ladies I share the track with," K told MTV News on Wednesday at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. "I wrote 'TTWE' for Britney with [producers] Dr. Luke and Max [Martin] and she killed it and I loved it, but I just thought a supergroup of three hot, strong women could just take over the airwaves."

Ke$ha went on to give props to both the ladies. "I'm such a massive fan of Britney and I'm such a massive supporter of Nicki and a fan, and chicks sometimes don't team up. I don't know why, but I'm, like, huge on the girl power, so I just wanted to make a power girl track take over."

The remix quickly won praise from fans who seem to think the new features step up the song's game. "You know, with the three of us, I wasn't necessarily surprised [people like it] because I'm such a massive fan of Nicki Minaj and obviously with Britney I'm a fan of it, [taking] myself out of the equation," she said. "I'm just happy people like it."

So did Ke$ha (who once sang backup for Spears) feel any pressure writing a song for Britney? "There was no pressure. Writing for somebody else is really fun 'cause I consider myself a songwriter first and foremost," she explained. "So it was so much fun to put my brain in the sexy Britney Spears brain and express myself almost as if I were possessed by her."

Nellie AndreevaOscar-winning documentary filmmaker Charles Ferguson (Inside Job) has come on board to direct HBO Films' movie about Julian Assange should it be greenlighted for production. The film is being executive producer by Joshua Maurer and Alixandre Witlin of City Entertainment and David Stern of KippSter Entertainment. A writer for the project is expected to be locked in soon. It's official, boys and girls, "Saturday Night Live" star Jason Sudeikis is set to host the MTV Movie Awards when the show goes live June 5 from Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Who will win Golden Popcorn statues? What kind of zany antics will go down? Nobody really knows, but one guy who understands what it's like to host the show is 2010 emcee and "Parks and Recreation" star Aziz Ansari.

So, what words of wisdom does Mr. Ansari have for Sudeikis nearly 12 months after his stint? "It's so much work, so definitely have a lot of uppers on hand, like just drugs that'll get you fired up," he joked to MTV News. "PCP is good to stay up all night, get all the work done. It's a cool thing though; it's back in vogue. It's like Twitter, PCP. It's like trendy things: Twitter, PCP, Jonas Brothers."

While we're not sure he'll take Ansari's advice, Sudeikis has made it clear he hopes to do a bang-up job. "I'm sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year, and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically lauded Movie Awards show hosting in 2011 alive," Sudeikis joked.

The MTV Movie Awards nominees — based on your votes at MovieAwards.MTV.com — will be announced Tuesday, at which point you'll be able to vote for your favorite films and stars in categories like Best Fight, Best Kiss, Biggest Badass Star, Best Villain and, of course, Best Movie. Voting will continue through June 4, though Best Movie will remain open throughout the live ceremony June 5 — meaning you'll have a chance to affect the night's biggest prize until the very last minute.

'NCIS' Creator Don Bellisario Sues CBS Over 'NCIS: LA', CBS Dismisses His Claims

Nellie Andreevapost thumbnail UPDATE 12 PM: CBS TV Studios just issued the following statement in response to the lawsuit, "Don Bellisario has no rights to what he is claiming in this suit. The contract is clear, the facts are undeniable and the courts won't need Naval intelligence to conclude that the case has no merit. We continue to honor all of our obligations to Mr. Bellisario under the actual agreement." EXCLUSIVE 10:40 AM: A 20-year successful partnership between a top TV producer and a major studio may end up in court. This morning, JAG and NCIS creator Don Bellisario is filing a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the series' producer CBS TV Studios over offshoot NCIS: Los Angeles. The complaint, which you can read here, is being filed at Los Angeles Superior Court by Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks & Lincenberg. Bellisario, who was let go from NCIS in 2007 after star Mark Harmon threatened to quit the show, has not been involved in the successful spinoff series which was developed the following year and launched in fall 2009 and has not received a penny from it. The filing aims to rectify that, claiming that under Bellisario's contracts with CBS TV Studios and its predecessors, Bellisario had a right of "first opportunity" "to participate creatively in economically in the development" of any "new spinoffs, sequels or remakes" of ... With Discovery Health Off To Oprah-land, Discovery Communications Exceeds Financial Projections In First Quarter

post thumbnail UPDATE, 7:45 AM: Discovery CEO David Zaslav acknowledged this morning that ratings for OWN, the joint venture cable channel with Oprah Winfrey, were "below our expectations" -- and that his company will have to spend more than the $215 million it has already invested. "It has been a slower start," he told analysts in a conference call." He added that "it's going to take us a while, and we're committed to it." The company didn't specify how much it would invest saying it will depend on OWN's ratings. Meanwhile, Zaslav says that he plans to make big changes at Planet Green -- the channel about environmentally friendly living. The concept "hasn't worked out well. It's underperforming." Still, he's upbeat about the upfront ad market as well as prospects to sell programs to services including Netflix and on platforms such as the iPad. "We're unusual because we own all of our content," he says. "We view all of those as opportunities." Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams: Married!

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams were married on April 9, according to their official wedding certificate filed in Miami Beach.

Congratulations on the wedding he denied took place!

While we now know Bosh wed Adrienne Nicole Williams, the baller denied that he had done so at an NBA news conference shortly thereafter.

Chris Bosh and Adrienne Williams

According to the courts in Miami-Dade County, Chris and Adrienne are officially husband and wife, whether he acknowledges it publicly or not.

Chris' relationship with his ex, Allison Mathis, has been playing out in the media thanks to her attempts to get on the show Basketball Wives.

Perhaps he just wants to keep his private life under wraps from now on after that experience. Hard to blame the seven-footer for that, really.

In other news, Bosh scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Heat ousted Philadelphia from the playoffs last night. Nice work!

Paris Hilton Denies Almost Running Over 'Fairly Legal' Star

Paris Hilton Denies Almost Running Over 'Fairly Legal' Star

Paris Hilton is finally striking back at Fairly Legal star Sarah Shahi for a recent Twitter rant calling Hilton the "worst driver ever." Shahi did not mince words in her attack on the heiress, claiming that Paris had nearly run her over with her car. "Almost hit me, then ran a stop sign. What if there was a kid around the corner, you dumb b*tch," she tweeted. Shahi didn't stop her tirade there, adding, "What a lame existence. Horrible excuse for a human being." Ouch.

Yesterday, Hilton spoke with Extra, insisting: "First of all, I wasn't even driving that day. I just came back from Vegas with my boyfriend -- and we were home relaxing. I hadn't even been in the car that day."

Hilton declares that it is a case of misidentification. "Maybe it was some other blonde girl who looked like me," she speculated. "There are a lot of Paris Hilton look-alikes, who do it for a living. They're always doing things, and I'm getting blamed for it. So this could be another incident like that." Paris Hilton look-alikes roaming the streets of Hollywood wreaking havoc? Stranger things have happened.

With a scandal-ridden past, and a reputation for being a party girl, the reality star declared that she was "shocked" by Shahi's intemperate rant: "I'm like, 'Dude, I wasn't even driving,' so I don't know."

Hilton's new reality show, The World According to Paris premieres June 1 on the Oxygen Network.

EVENT FAB: Kerry, Lala & Carmelo, & More Hit The Red Carpet For TIME 100 Gala

TIME magazine recently released their issue of their 100 most influential people in the world.  So last night, at NYC's Jazz at the Lincoln Center Hall, the TIME 100 Gala went down to celebrate.

We've got pics of the celebs in attendance and looking fab, when you read on....

Gorgeous Kerry Washington posed inside with Bruno Mars.  And she danced it up and hit the carpet in this floor length watercolor dress that I'm loving:

Kerry wore a gorgeous Malandino silk cap-sleeve dress in a vibrant mix of fuchsia, purple and a multitude of other colours.

Lovely.

Gayle King hit the carpet with her rumored boo--Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Cory Booker, who made TIME's list himself.

LaLa looked cute in her little black dress with her hubby Carmelo Anthony.

The couple looks great!

And 'Melo kicked it with Mark Wahlberg and Bruno Mars who made the list.

While La posed with "Gossip Girl" Blake Lively who made the list.

Questlove made an appearance as well.  Fab times.
