Michelle Obama Hosts Kerry Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross And Other "Remarkable Women" In D.C.

Last night, First Lady Michelle Obama invited  a group of fabulous women to the East Wing to celebrate Women’s History Month at the "Remarkable Women Dinner."  YBF celebs like Kerry Washington, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rashida Jones and Dominique Dawes were there to support Mrs. Obama and to offer mentorship to local girls during daytime panels at local schools.  Deets inside....

Last night, The White House invited local students to a fab dinner re they mixed and mingled with some very remarkable women in an effort to boost self-esteem and self-awareness.

But earlier in the day, the remarkable women dropped by various high schools in the Washington D.C. area to offer encouragement to young women.

Alfre Woodard, Geena Davis and Judith Jamison spoke with high school seniors at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, Maryland.

Fab chicks Rashida Jones and Olympian Dominique Dawes visited Woodson High School in Washington, DC.   Sidenote: I LOVE Dominique.  I used to watch the Olympics just to watch her fabulousness and was amazed by her when I was younger.  So good to see her partaking in events like these.

Kerry Washington and Tracee Ellis Ross spoke at Spring Brook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland.

And Lisa Leslie, Olympic Gold medalist and former WNBA professional basketball player, talked to girls at Eastern Senior High School in Washington, DC.

And later that evening, the celebs gathered in the East Wing for the "Remarkable Women" Dinner.

Gorgeous place settings.

The First Lady looked fabulous as usual as she made her remarks.  She told the young girls,

"...Alll of you should know that these wonderful ladies are just as excited and maybe not -- maybe even more excited to be here with all of you tonight, as great as they are. We all take so much pride and excitement from being able to share our stories and talk to you and look you in the face and ask you questions and give you advice."

Hey Rashida!

Alfre Woodard looked nice.

And the gorgeous Tracee Ellis Ross seemed to enjoy donating her time to a good cause.
