Gwyneth Paltrow has a lot on her plate: she's a mom of two who just happens to make movies, write cookbooks, guest star on hit TV shows and sing (sometimes in concert!). And while our daily lives may not be as glamorous, we can definitely relate to dealing with a fair amount of stress.
In the latest entry of her online newsletter, GOOP, the 38-year-old actress offers some tips on keeping a handle on life's head-spinning nature.
"I have never been very good at handling stress (though a bit of meditation helps), and I wanted some very practical ways of reducing it that I could use during the course of my day," Paltrow wrote.
The Oscar winner went to experts Dr. Oz Garcia, Oliver Bros and Monica Berg to get some useful advice.
"I got some good answers that don't require a 90 minute yoga class, or flying to a hippie style silent retreat (I've actually done one -- don't ask), just simple things that we all have access to. Here they are!"
The expert tips include everything from eating avocados to taking deep breaths.
Paltrow also asked readers to post some of their own ideas for getting zen. "If anyone has helpful tips for stress reduction PLEASE post them on our Facebook page," she wrote.
It's kind of nice to know that even with tons of cash and a team of helpers, Gwyneth needs to decompress sometimes too, and that she cares enough to share her tips with her fans.
