Ryan Reynolds & Jason Bateman?s ?Change-Up? Promo

You may think that the new comedy The Change-Up is the same old switched-body story you've seen in so many movies before it (Freaky Friday, Like Father Like Son, etc.). But, by just watching this hilarious new fake promo for the movie -- starring the utterly appealing duo of Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds -- it's pretty obvious you've never actually seen the tale told exactly like this. Dressed in identical white suits, Reynolds is the first one to say that the body-switching premise is a "f-ing stupid idea," but if moviegoers shell out the dough, "they'll laugh their d-ck off!"

With instructions from the director to downplay that the flick almost received an NC-17 rating, the funny men do their best to convince the audience that even our grandmothers could see it.

"If she's a freak, we'll take her money," Bateman deadpans. While Reynolds chimes in, "If Wrinkles likes to get nutty...yeah...bring her along."

Reynolds also takes a jab at the movie's soon-to-be box office competition, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, by saying, "Come see The Change-Up! It's no dumber than a movie about talking apes."

If these two guys can make a set filled with just two wooden stools side-splitting, we can only imagine what they can do with the 2-hour film.

The Change-Up hits theaters on Friday, Aug. 5!
