MUSIC VIDEOS: Jill Scott's "So Gone"+Common's "Blue Sky"+MJB's "25/8"

Jill Scott released her sexy new video for "So Gone (What My Mind Says)," which is our fave track off her "Light of the Sun" LP.  Check out her and a newly slim Paul Wall, plus new vids from Common & Mary J. Blige inside....

 

It's Jill's official second single off of The Light of the Sun, “So Gone (What My Mind Says)” ft. Paul Wall. Ms. Jilly also set a record recently with her first single "So In Love With You" -- which tied with Maxwell as the longest #1 record in the Urban AC Radio format in HISTORY (18 weeks long).

Jill has also recently been confirmed to perform on VH1 Diva’s Celebrate Soul, along side Mary J Blige, Florence + Machine and more, as well as nominated for 3 Soul Train awards, including Album of the Year (The Light of the Sun), Best Female R&B/Soul Artist and Song of the Year (“So In Love” ft. Anthony Hamilton).  “So Gone” will begin to impact and spin on radio this month.

Common released his "Blue Sky" video, shot in L.A.'s Barclay Hotel by director Parris.  He showcases people living their dreams as basketball players, dancers, artists and more.

 

 

And Mary J. Blige just released her "25/8" video.  The vid was directed by Diane Martel and Mary talks about how she needs more time in the day and week to love her man. Her upcoming album My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1) drops November 21st.
