Saoirse Ronan as Wanda in "The Host": New Pic!

Building the anticipation for its March 29th, 2013 release, “The Host” has just released a new still photograph of star Saoirse Ronan .

The “Lovely Bones” actress plays the lead role of Wanda in the film, based on the bestselling book by “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer.

“The Host” is “a riveting story about the survival of love and the human spirit in a time of war. Our world has been invaded by a unseen enemy. Humans become hosts for these invaders, their minds taken over while their bodies remain intact. Most of humanity has succumbed.”

Besides Ms. Ronan, the film also stars Diane Kruger, Jake Abel, Max Irons, Frances Fisher, and William Hurt.
