The Most-"Liked" Celebrity on Facebook is Eminem

Lady Gaga may be the queen of Twitter -- but when it comes to Facebook, Eminem is king. The 39-year-old rapper is now the most popular living person on the social media network, with 60.1 million "likes" so far, according to recently released data.

By gaining more than 26 thousand followers a day, Eminem has edged out the previous top Facebook user, Rihanna. This time last year, the "Where Have You Been" singer ranked No. 1 with 40 million FB fans. It's still a close contest: She's currently in second place, trailing her "Love The Way You Lie" collaborator by fewer than one million "likes."

Surprisingly, Lady Gaga -- who became the first person ever to reach 10 million Facebook fans in 2010 -- has fallen in the rankings, and now has fewer followers than Shakira. With 53 million fans to her name, Gaga has also been bested by a page devoted to The Simpsons (which has 53.8 million fans), but still has more followers than Harry Potter (49. 1 million) and Michael Jackson (51.1 million).

Even with those impressive numbers, no living person (or TV show) is popular enough to be the most-"liked" page on Facebook. The top four slots are occupied by the Facebook for Every Phone app (117.5 million fans), Texas HoldEm Poker (63.8 million fans), YouTube (61.2 million fans), and Facebook itself (70.3 million fans).

On Twitter, of course, it's a whole different story. Gaga, who reached 25 million followers in May, is still dominating with 27.8 million. Justin Bieber comes in second with 25.8 million, followed by Katy Perry (24.1 million), Rihanna (23.4 million) and Britney Spears (19 million). As for Eminem? He barely squeaks into the Top 20 at No. 19. Maybe he should tell his Facebook friends to go follow him on Twitter!
