After 11 years as a judge on "American Idol", Randy Jackson has officially left the show.
Jackson was the last remaining originally judge on the hit singing competition, as Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell previously departed; the 56-year-old judge is expected to have a mentoring role with the show, however.
Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler recently announced their intentions to leave the hit show. Their spots are expected to be filled by Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
While Jackson's spot has not officially been filled, reports claim Keith Urban is virtually a done deal. The country star would allegedly make $3-4 million, compared with Nicki's $6-8 million and Mariah's $18 million. Even if the deal with the 44-year-old singer/songwriter gets done, viewers can expect a fourth judge on 'Idol', as was previously announced.
