Hugh Hefner Resolves to Stay Single

If he had had his way, Hugh Hefner would have exchanged vows with Crystal Harris in the summer of 2011.

But the Playboy founder says he won't be making that same mistake in the new year, telling People this week that he "dodged a bullet" when Harris dumped him days before their scheduled June wedding.

"I am clearly not meant to be married," the 85-year old said. "Married life isn't for me."

Don't cry for Hef, however. He's far from lonely.

The bachelor refers to his latest girlfriends, Shera Berchard and Anna Berglund, as "special ladies" and told the magazine he'd be "on top of my game" in 2012. It's unclear which of those women he's nicknamed game.

YBF EXCLUSIVE: "Love & Hip-Hop" Star Yandy Claims "Producers SET UP The Fights...I'm NOT Don King!"

She's the controversial spitfire who's all about her bottom line and cashing her checks. So why is Yandy Smith coming across as THE instigator on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop?"

In an exclusive interview with TheYBF.com, the NY native tells her side of the story and says, "I am not the Don King of Reality TV."

Yandy Smith, the hard-working (ex) manager of rapper Jim Jones feels like she’s getting a bad rap this season of “Love & Hip Hop.”

She's the common third party in the TWO major fights of the season (Chrissy vs. Kimbella & Kimbella vs. Erica Mena).  Yandy tells us, though, she was justas blindsided as everybody else. And the producers controlled who she brought around the rest of the cast...and set up the scenario which would very likely cause a fight.  Are the producers setting her up to be the bad guy? Hmmmmm……………you decide.  Here's our chat:

YBF: Now you have been the common denominator between both fights involving Kimbella and other cast members.  What's up with that and why do you keep bringing new people around?

Yandy: What you have to understand is that you don’t just bring who you want. It's very real.....but situational. They tell you who to bring and it's very set up. If I come to an event with someone, it's because that’s who they told me to bring.  The night before the fight, I had just met Erica. [The producers] introduced her to me. She said she had researched me and she really wanted to work with me because she wanted to get in the industry. And during dinner, she even mentioned Kimbella's name in passing when talking about my other clients.  And she was telling me that she's not like anyone I have ever worked with and I kinda liked her vibe.  But the way it was edited, it looks like she was dissing Kimbella during dinner and then they showed us high-fiving!  Now....why would I go to dinner with this girl and let her talk about my friend and then, the next day, bring her to a lunch Kimbella invited me too?

We never know exactly what we are walking into, and when I watched it on tv, I felt like it was a set up.

YBF: Some people believe you're an instigator, and you play like you have no idea what's going on.  And what we can't understand is why does EVERYBODY wants to fight Kimbella?  Is she always the victim or do you call her out for her wrong doings as well?

Yandy: I know people have been calling me the Don King of reality tv, but what I want folks to know is that you only see 10 mins out of a person's 24 hour day.  I am not all about money and I am a good friend.  But this is a reality show...it's for entertainment.  These ladies and I are not really friends, but we are put in social interactions for entertainment purposes.  And sometimes, things happen. The producers like to get a reaction because a good fight can lead to 3 million viewers.

As for Kimbella, she doesn’t play victim at all.  But for whatever reason, a lot of people [on and off the show] hate on her. I have seen it with my own eyes....people want to pick on her. And now she is so used to people coming for her that she is a little sensitive.  But once you break down that wall, she is a sweet girl. But she is not presented in the best light on this show for a number of reasons.

YBF: Any chance of you reconciling with Chrissy after the drama with Jimmy and Mama Jones and you dancing to Nancy's song?

Yandy: I've said it before, I don't have a problem with Chrissy. I never have.  But I have always been close to Nancy.  We have talked on the phone every day for the past 8 years.  And I wasn't trying to diss Chrissy when we danced to the song. But it's like, if you are in the club and a song your favorite auntie made comes on.....you are going to dance! I was like, we in the club and they playing Nancy's song!  I didn't think about how that made Chrissy feel.....but I did apologize.

'Hunger Games' Suspense Kicked Into High Gear In 2011

The film might not hit theaters until next year, but casting announcements and exclusive interviews got fans worked up for March release.

For the millions of fans who have been eagerly awaiting a film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-seller "The Hunger Games," 2011 gave them even more to be eager about as details trickled out about the movie, which is due in March.

We at MTV News have been as caught up in the frenzy as everyone else. And along the way, we've been able to speak with the major players involved in the "Games," gleaning the juiciest details from the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

Back in January, before casting was solidified, Hemsworth told MTV News he'd read the script and that he could actually see himself in the role of Peeta. After Hemsworth won the role of Gale instead, we chatted up his older brother and fellow actor Chris Hemsworth, who revealed that he helped Liam prep for his big audition by reading the role of Katniss. "I did. Swear to God," he said. "I read that. Put my girly American accent on."

In May, we had our first "Hunger Games"-centricchat with Jennifer Lawrence. She discussed fans' initial protests over her blond hair, which quieted after she dyed it, along with the intense hours of archery training she went through to become as convincingly handy with a bow and arrow as Katniss is.

"It's lots of training, but the training is actually really fun," she said. "I've done archery for about six weeks, rock climbing, tree climbing and combat and running and vaulting," she said. "Also yoga and things like that to stay cat-like."

We also caught up with some of the film's supporting actors. Lenny Kravitz, who is ready to further prove his acting chops in the role of sympathetic District 12 stylist Cinna, said he's doing his homework by immersing himself in all Collins' books. Elizabeth Banks was a bit more cagey in revealing any details about her transformation into pink-haired, type-A Effie Trinket, but she did admit that she and co-star Woody Harrelson have chemistry.

Harrelson, who plays alcoholic Hunger Games survivor Haymitch Abernathy, praised Lawrence's portrayal of Katniss and revealed that his character's hairstyle was inspired by his own brother. "I was like, 'OK, let's get a wig. Let's do the Brett Harrelson hair,' " he said of the long and slightly shaggy style. "It's kind of cool. I really liked the look. It's a fun character, and I think it's going to be a good movie."

Fellow supporting player Stanley Tucci, a.k.a. the blue-haired Caesar Flickerman, echoed Harrelson's sentiments about Lawrence's performance. "She was amazing," he said. "They were all amazing. She's just so good and so mature at such a young age. It was really fun. Really fun. And [director] Gary Ross, he's great."

We didn't have to take Tucci's word for it, as we also sat down with Ross for an exclusive interview surrounding our debut of the "Games" teaser trailer back in August. The "Seabiscuit" and "Pleasantville" helmer took us through his detailed plans for the film and the challenges of filming.

And we finally stole a few moments with Peeta Mellark himself, Josh Hutcherson, who took us through his grueling audition process and the anxious wait for the news of his casting, why he was "so right" for Peeta and his excitement for the fans to see the finished product.

"It's exciting to hear people are that interested in something you're doing, so it's a little nerve-racking, but I'm onboard," he said. "The fans for 'The Hunger Games,' they're die-hard. They're the best fans in the world, so I'm really excited for them to see the movie."

'Bel Ami' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Robert Pattinson breaks away from Edward Cullen in the story of one man's rise to the top of Parisian society.

Ladies, say goodbye to Edward Cullen and hello to George Duroy.

The newest "Bel Ami" trailer has hit the Web, showcasing a Robert Pattinson who is very different from the one fans have come to know and love in "The Twilight Saga."

The sex-filled drama follows penniless soldier Duroy on his rise to the top of the Parisian social ladder thanks to his manipulation and seduction of the wives of the French elite. Needless to say, fans who want a lot of nudity and friskiness to go along with their daily dose of Pattinson should not be disappointed by this latest preview, which follows an earlier "Bel Ami" trailer released in July.

While the film doesn't have a release date yet in the U.S., viewers in the U.K. will be able to see it starting March 2. For now, here are five key scenes from the brand-new trailer!

Meet the Ladies
There's a reason directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod enlisted Pattinson: He's one of the biggest sex symbols around, and Duroy is a playboy in every sense of the word. As important a character as he is, the ladies Duroy seduces are also integral to the story. About a fourth of the way through the trailer, Pattinson is seen sitting across from the three women who will act as his love interests: Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas. These ladies likely have no idea what emotional roller coaster is in store for them.

Sex, Sex and More Sex
Pattinson has been pretty upfront about the fact that "Bel Ami" includes plenty of sex and — in his words — "a lot of my crack in it." This trailer teases those aspects of the movie, as Pattinson can be spotted frequently getting frisky with Thurman, Ricci and Thomas. But it's his slow seduction methods that have really captured our interest. Whether he's drawing a finger down Ricci's neck or flirting with Thomas in a church, Pattinson seems to have come a long way from the brooding Edward Cullen.

"I've Been Such a Fool"
You've got to love a man who can admit when he's wrong. The crux of the movie pivots on Duroy's bad behavior, so it should come as no surprise that he eventually gets in trouble for it — at least that's what it looks like when he admits to Ricci's character, "I've been such a fool." Whether that means he will learn from his actions is yet to be seen, but we doubt it based on all of the other dramatic occurrences in the trailer.

"Get Out of My House!"
Between "Bel Ami" and Pattinson's other project, "Cosmopolis," the man best known as a sparkly vampire is getting the chance to show he can be more than just a heartthrob. And he gives us a preview in the trailer when he yells, "Get out of my house!" breaking down his character's usually composed façade.

A Man's Reflection
The trailer is scattered with shots of Duroy staring at his own reflection, but two pivotal instances bookend the video. In the first, Duroy gazes at his face in a small, broken mirror, looking unsatisfied with what he sees. But toward the end of the trailer, there is a (shirtless!) full-body shot of Duroy staring at himself yet again. In the voice-over, he emphatically states, "There is no next life, and I am going to live." It's clear Duroy has undergone significant changes since the beginning of the film, but we have a gut feeling those changes aren't going to end well for him.

Jennifer Hudson Talks Live-Saving Fiance

Her life has been filled with dramatic ups and downs, and Jennifer Hudson recently got real about how her fiance David Otunga saved her life.

The ?American Idol? alum explained, "I remember it like yesterday. And I was literally pickin' up my bags to walk out the door to go to my mother's house. And he called me, like, 'Can you come out here instead of going, you know?' And I was like, 'Okay, sure.' And that one decision, that one thing, I wouldn't be sittin' here."

As it turns out, Jennifer was on her way to her mom?s house just before her mother, brother, and nephew were murdered, and without that phone call, she likely would have been killed as well.

Since than, Hudson has dropped a bunch of weight, taken her career to the next level, and written a book about the power of a positive attitude called ?I Got This,? set to release January 10th.

"That's just how I look at things. Instead of second-guessing myself or doubting things, or even defeating myself before I even try. That's where this came from. You know what -- I Got This. That's why I wrote this book. It's like I wanna be that voice cheering others on you know. And if I got this, you got it too."
