Michael Lohan Arrested ? for the Second Time This Week!

A few words of advice for Michael Lohan: When you've just been released from jail after your ex had you arrested for alleged domestic abuse, it's probably best not to harrass her with threatening phone calls.

Yet that's exactly what the 51-year-old father of Lindsay Lohan did, just hours after being released from a Tampa, Fla., jail for physically assaulting his on-and-off girlfriend Kathryn Major during an argument at her condo early Tuesday morning. Not surprisingly, Lohan was once again taken into police custody for violating pre-trial release orders to stay away from his former lady love.

According to Tampa police, Lohan called Major, 28, Wednesday afternoon to send her some ill-wishes. But police were at Major's apartment at the time -- Major had called them to report a previous threatening call from Lohan -- and Kathryn put the call on speakerphone so they could listen. Since the call was in violation of Judge Walter Heinrich's orders, an arrest warrant was authorized and police went to take Lohan into custody at his Tahitian Inn hotel room.

But Lohan wasn't too keen to be arrested for the second time in one week. According to a news release from the police, Lohan jumped off a third-story balcony in an attempt to evade the cops but was captured after a short pursuit on foot. He was taken to Hillsborough County Jail but then brought to Tampa General Hospital because authorities believed he had broken his foot in his fall.

Lohan claims a different story though. The St. Petersburg Times reported that Lohan thinks Major set him up to be caught. "She needs help, she calls me, and I'm a sucker so I call her back," he reportedly said as he was being put into the back of a police cruiser. "I'm an idiot." (Hey, no argument here.)

Either way, Lohan is being sent back to jail. Authorities said he'll be back behind bars once doctors clear him to leave the hospital.

Butler, McConaughey & Worthington Tapped for "Thunder Run"

Stringing together an all-star ensemble, Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington and Matthew McConaughey have signed on to the CG 3-D action/thriller "Thunder Run."

Teaming up their talents for the Simon West film, the trio of Hollywood heavyweights are set to take the lead roles in the big screen adaption of the novel "Thunder Run: The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie ?aims to recount the capture of Baghdad by American forces at the start of the Iraq War in 2003. The three-day assault was referred as a ?lightning strike? or thunder run.'"

Set to begin production in 2012, the picture will strive to "paint the harrowing picture of the soldiers on the front lines and the realities of modern warfare.?

Katie Holmes Gets "Slutty" on 'How I Met Your Mother': Video

There are only a few short days until Katie Holmes' perfect-on-paper "Slutty Pumpkin" gives How I Met Your Mother's Ted the Halloween treat he's been wanting for a decade. But fans don't have to wait that long to see Holmes' Naomi (a.k.a. Ms. Slutty Pumpkin herself) and Josh Radnor's Ted show off their on-screen chemistry -- or lack thereof. Below, watch three clips from HIMYM's Halloween-themed Oct. 31 episode, appropriately titled "Perfect on Paper."
 

The legend of the Slutty Pumpkin was first introduced in the show's season 1 Halloween episode in 2005. Ted recounted the tale of how he'd met the unnamed woman -- who wore a pumpkin costume with "strategic cutouts" and liked a drink called "the Tootsie roll" -- at a Halloween bash in 2001, was immediately smitten with her, and just as immediately lost her phone number when Lily (Alyson Hannigan) gave away the Kit Kat on which Naomi had scrawled her digits. Though Ted went back to the same party dressed in the same costume (a hanging chad) year after year, he never reconnected with the Slutty-Pumpkin-suited potential mother of his children -- that is, until now.

There's no denying that the pair's re-meet-cute in the first clip is just that -- extremely cute. ("Halloween, 10 years ago. Now that's a slow play," Naomi quips adorably when Ted turns up at her door.) But the two subsequent clips quickly make it apparent that Ted isn't nearly as convinced as Naomi that they "fit like two puzzle pieces."

So while it's highly unlikely that Naomi will turn out to be the titular mother, the HIMYM episode promises to be a strong one. Holmes oozes that smart-tongued Joey Potter sass that endeared to legions of fans in her Dawson's Creek days. And we're intrigued by the subplot in which Robyn (Cobie Smulders), dressed as a tooth-challenged hockey player, makes fun of Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), suited down as Rocky IV's Apollo Creed, for his apparent Canadian heritage. What's that aboot?

Katherine Heigl: Lunch Date in Hollywood

Taking a break from her busy life, Katherine Heigl was spotted out on a lunch date in Hollywood yesterday afternoon (October 27).

The ?Knocked Up? actress was joined by her husband Josh Kelley as she hit up Sushi Ike for some delicious seafood eats.

And though Tinseltown has traditionally been dominated by the male gender, Katherine recently told FOX Pop Tarts that the tides have changed.

?It has changed. I started so young that I probably didn?t really have any understanding of what our part was? I just wanted to work. But as I?ve gotten older and branched out into other aspects of the entertainment industry, in terms of producing and optioning books and performing, I am really proud to say this town feels very equal opportunity to me. It doesn?t matter whether you?re a woman or a man; it just matters whether or not you have a good idea to make it happen or not.?

Ben Stiller Admits He Loves Jen and Justin!

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have some celebrity fans. The couple?s famous pals Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor dished to In Touch about what it?s like being besties with the biggest couple in Hollywood right now.

?They seem to be really happy together!? Ben said of Jen and Justin at the premiere of Tower Heist in NYC. ?They?re great people. I love them both!?

Ben and Jen starred together in the 2004 comedy Along Came Polly, while Ben starred in the 2008 hit Tropic Thunder, which Justin wrote.

In August, Jennifer and Justin took their relationship very public while on a romantic trip to Hawaii to visit their mutual pals. Sounds like they made quite an impression because the foursome have since been on a double date. Jen and Justin even celebrated with Ben and Christine after the comedian recently hosted SNL.
