Though he was only 44 years old, a medical examiner has concluded that Heavy D's death last month was a result of natural causes. TMZ reported that Heavy, born Dwight Myers, died from a pulmonary embolism caused by deep vein thrombosis.

Pulmonary embolism is usually caused by a blood clot formed in the leg that eventually travels up to the lung, stopping blood flow. In most cases, the clots formed aren't deadly, but officials from L.A. County Coroner's Office also told TMZ that the rapper suffered from heart disease and that may have been a contributing factor to his death as well.

According to WebMD, common symptoms associated with pulmonary embolism are sudden shortness of breath, sharp chest pains, lightheadedness and fainting. Police reported that on November 8 they arrived at Heavy D's Beverly Hills home after a call was made to report an unconscious man. When the cops arrived, they found the rapper conscious, though he had difficulty breathing. The self-proclaimed Overweight Lover was then transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. TMZ also reported that a flight that Heavy took back from Europe after performing at a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales may have been a factor in his death as well. It is believed that the blood clots formed in Heavy's legs due to his prolonged immobility on the long flight.

Heavy was laid to rest on November 18. The night before his funeral, his brother Floyd Myers spoke with MTV News about his brother's health from his family's home, apparently unaware of Heavy's heart disease. "Heavy was in great shape," Myers said. "You guys seen him at the BET Awards, and he just did the tribute to Michael Jackson; they flew him out to London to do that. Heav was in good shape, healthy, no heart problems. He constantly made sure that his health was in check."

At the time, the initial autopsy report had come back inconclusive and Heavy's family, friends and fans were still searching for answers. Still, rather than speculate, Heav's brother remembered the positivity that the rapper exhibited in his life. "He loved family, and that's who he was, but it wasn't too much different from how he treated his friends and his fans," he said. "He showed everybody love and affection, and we're gonna miss that."

Watch out, world! The youngest in the Jenner-Kardashian clan are making their big-business debut. Kylie and Kendall Jenner will be following in the footsteps of big sister Kim Kardashian when they start their new jewelry line for designer Pascal Mouawad.

People reports that the sisters will be expanding the Kardashian "style empire" with a new yet-to-be-named line of accessories that will be part of Mouawad's Glamhouse jewelry collection. It will be targeted at girls ages 12 to 19, and will run between $20 and $60.

"Millions of teenagers look to Kendall and Kylie for style advice so they were truly a perfect fit for the company and I’m thrilled to partner with them," Mouawad says.

In their own statement, Kendall, 16, and Kylie, 14, said, "We love accessories, and it’s amazing that we’re going to have our own line to be able to wear everyday -- and for our friends to wear, too!"

Big sister Kim also teamed up with Mouawad for a jewelry collection called Belle Noel, which premiered at Bebe last year. Will Kimmie's littlest sisters give her a run for her money? We'll have to wait and see!

How Will William & Kate Celebrate New Year?s Eve?

How Will William & Kate Celebrate New Year?s Eve?

There will be no raucous New Year's Eve for the royal newlyweds this year. As they celebrate the close of a huge year, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be ringing in 2012 surrounded by family, reports Us Weekly. Only days after their 8-month anniversary, the happy couple will reunite with the rest of the royals in Aberdeen, Scotland, at Birkhall, a 53,000-acre estate belonging to William's father, Prince Charles.

Spending both New Year's Eve and New Year's Day there, they will be joined for pomp and circumstance by Charles and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles. And, unlike Christmas with her in-laws, Kate is also expecting her parents Michael and Carole for the festivities. Although, if the Middletons do attend the celebrations, they won't be crashing in any of the estate's guest rooms over the holiday weekend.

"(The Middletons) are staying at Teapot Cottage or another cottage on the estate, not Birkhall itself," a source tells Us.

All eyes will be on the stylish duchess to see if she brings out her newest accessories again -- a pair of Kiki McDonough earrings, believed to be a Christmas gift from her handsome hubby. The 29-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was spotted wearing them on Christmas Day, going to and from church with the royal family. The drop earrings are green amethysts surrounded by diamonds on a diamond hoop, and retail for a little more than $3,000.

Whether Kate will be rocking her new earrings or not, we're sure she will make the celebration sparkle.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley & Jason Statham: Loro Piana Pair

Fitting in as much time together as their typically busy schedules permit, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Jason Statham were spotted making their way around Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday afternoon (December 27).

The "Transporter" actor and his lovely model/actress girlfriend popped into Loro Piana on North Rodeo Drive to scoop up a few purchases.

The retail outing comes as Jason is gearing up for what's looking to be another busy year on the career front.

The 44-year-old has multiple movies in the pipeline with the crime thriller titled "Safe" being the first to hit theaters on April 27, 2012.

Directed by Boaz Yakin, the picture finds "a former elite agent take on a two-tier mission: rescue a Chinese girl who's been abducted by the Triads, then use a safe combination to outwit the Russian Mafia, corrupt NYC officials, and the Triads themselves."

'The Hobbit' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Much-anticipated return to Middle-earth appeals to loyal 'Lord of the Rings' fans.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

Martin Freeman in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey"

Just days after the 10th anniversary of the release of "The Fellowship of the Ring," we have our first look at director Peter Jackson's return to Middle-earth. The first trailer for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" packs in a ton of action and gives fans a peek at what they can expect when the first of the two films opens next December.

We took some time off from watching the trailer on repeat to give you the rundown on the five key things you should pay attention to in the trailer.

The Hobbit(s)
It wouldn't be "The Hobbit" without a strong member of the Shire folk to rally behind. Martin Freeman is Bilbo Baggins, and he jumps right into Jackson's Middle-earth and feels right at home. He also fits in with the two returning hobbits, Elijah Wood and Ian Holm. Both make welcome returns in the trailer and draw in fans of the original films almost effortlessly.

The Dwarves
Almost as important as Bilbo in "The Hobbit," all 13 dwarves play key roles in the story. Fans who feared that the dwarves would look too cartoonish should find some peace of mind with the trailer. They completely worked (especially Richard Armitage as Thorin), with a balance between the child-oriented aspects of the book and the grittier look of the "Lord of the Rings" movies.

The Song
Nothing shows off that balance better than the dwarves' song. J.R.R. Tolkien featured many songs in the novel, and Jackson and co. incorporated this one in a natural way. It's a cool and ominous part of the trailer that sets the tone and shows the film's close adherence to the novel. However, the films do diverge from the novel to cover new material in a few instances.

The White Council
Because the book does not offer enough action for two complete movies, the films have been padded out with tales from the appendixes and other Tolkien books. The main addition is the story of the White Council. For those unfamiliar with the books, during the journey to Lonely Mountain, Gandalf leaves Bilbo and the dwarves to fight a mysterious enemy alongside Galadriel and Elrond. Jackson confirmed the story line's presence in the movie, but Cate Blanchett's appearance in the trailer is our only hint of what's to come.

Gollum
The trailer's big reveal comes at the end as the camera cranes down to the One Ring in the foreground. Next thing we know, Bilbo is chatting up Gollum in the dark, and Andy Serkis crawls down to make his welcome return to the character. The ring and Gollum are the two biggest connections between "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings," so their presence here is a near guarantee to rope in any fans of the first films.
