Tonight's the night. That's what the final teaser for Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video reminds fans.
The 10-second clip, released on Thursday (February 17) hours before the premiere of her Jonas Åkerlund-directed video, shows just her male dancers. One wears a plastic S&M-type mask over his face. The shots jump between him shaking his head back and forth, and the feet of the dancers pounding against a glossy floor. Britney makes no appearance in this final clip before the shebang airs at 9:55 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com.
While this preview is tauntingly brief, on Wednesday, the singer released a 30-second sneak peek of the video. In it, Spears is dancing up a storm and writhing on the ground in multiple costumes, changing into varying styles — from ultra-glam to ultra-sexy.
The preview opens with Spears lying on top of another version of herself, looking exhausted. That shot jumps to frames of Spears dancing. The lying-down Britneys get up and begin to dance as well. Next is a shot of her face, as she looks into the camera, singing, "Would you hold it against me?"
In a glossy dance break, Spears is wearing all black, as are her dancers, who twirl around, popping and locking, surrounded by steam.
