She may have a hot husband ? tennis star Andy Roddick ? and a hot career, but model Brooklyn Decker admits her swimsuit issue-worthy curves caused insecurities during her childhood years.
?Kids teased me in middle school because they thought I stuffed my bra,? the 23-year-old admits to In Touch. ?And my high school wardrobe consisted mostly of baggy sweats. I didn?t try to show off my body. If I had,? she adds, jokingly, ?you may have seen me on the show 16 and Pregnant!?
At 18, Brooklyn moved to New York to try to make it as a model. But she has admitted that she was still very insecure about her shape. Eventually, she says, her father had to convince her to stop obsessing about her body.
?I was always with other aspiring models,? she said. ?There were bingers and purgers, and everyone watched each other eat. It freaked me out!?
On February 11, Brooklyn will make her big-screen debut in Just Go With It. It seems she hasn?t left her bikini-wearing days behind her, but does have a hard-won trick to make them look good:
?My number one secret is confidence,? she says. ?It?s one of the sexiest things.?
