'Real Housewives of NYC' Star Ramona Doesn't Miss Bethenny

'Real Housewives of NYC' Star Ramona Doesn't Miss Bethenny

We all know that Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York City isn't going to be the same without Bethenny Frankel -- but at least one cast member swears it's going to be better. Ramona Singer tells E! Online that the show is more fun now that the SkinnyGirl chef is out of the picture.

"Oh my gosh, this is the best season ever, because there's no evil drama," gushes Singer, the show's resident entrepreneur. "People ask will the show be good without Bethenny on it, but I think the show will be better because she made it too dark. She and Jill made it too dark with the fighting."

Singer is referring to the feud between Frankel and former friend Jill Zarin, which dominated last season's story line, and contributed to Frankel leaving Real Housewives. (Well, that, and she got married, had a baby and got her own show about getting married and having a baby.) Real Housewives of New York City was originally supposed to premiere this week, but was pushed back to the spring -- allegedly, for the lack of drama. But Singer says that's not true at all.

"How could it be boring? Am I boring? I could never be," she jokes. "I'm not saying there's not going to be fighting, but we make up at the end of the day."

Plus, says Singer, the whole gang goes to Morocco -- and "it's better than Sex and the City."

The promo for season 4 hints at plenty of drama between the remaining housewives (although it still has the earlier premiere date tacked on). Last season's new cast member Sonja Morgan seems to be taking center stage in the brawling this time around, although reliable pot-stirrers Kelly Bensimon, Zarin and Alex McCord are still going strong. Then there's the new cast member, Cindy Barshop, who's still a mystery -- but she's friends with Ramona and Kelly, which means she's probably a little crazy in all the best ways! Watch the season 4 preview below!

While the Real Housewives are battling the "thug in a cocktail dress," Bethenny Frankel will be starring in her spin-off Bethenny Ever After, premiering on February 28. She's also pursuing a job as a daytime talk show host.
