2011 Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon

It draws quite the crowd each year, and this year was no exception as some of our favorite celebrities were in attendance at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Luncheon in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (August 4).

The red carpet was abuzz with Leonardo DiCaprio, Taylor Lautner, Lea Michele, Gerard Butler, Mark Wahlberg and Elizabeth Olsen all taking to the Beverly Hills Hotel venue.

During the course of the midday fete, DiCaprio joined alongside President of the HFPA, Aida Takla O'Reilly, during the Presentation of Grants while Wahlberg and Butler also took turns at the podium while addressing their fellow A-list spectators.

As for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, it was founded in the early 1940s by a group of Los Angeles-based foreign journalists in an attempt to gain more clout with the studios and make it easier to obtain access to stars.
