How Naomi Watts Seduced Liev Schreiber

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have been dating since 2005, but sparks flew from the very first time they met, according to the British actress. The Dream House star, who turns 43 on Sept. 28, opens up about her relationship with Schreiber in the October issue of More magazine, revealing that their attraction was clear from the moment they first set eyes on each other.

Let's set the scene: It was the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual costume ball a few years back. Watts was wearing a Calvin Klein dress that she describes as "very flirty" and "feminine." The two met, hit it off and exchanged numbers. Though Watts soon returned home to Los Angeles, her story with Schreiber was far from over.

"We spoke on the phone for several weeks and emailed," she says. "And then I made up some excuse to come to New York, and the rest is history."

Now the couple has been together for six years and has two children together. Watts and Schreiber, 43, welcomed their first son Alexander -- who they call Sasha -- in 2007. They had their second son, Samuel -- nicknamed Kai -- in 2008. Though Watts and Schreiber aren't married, Naomi previously revealed that Schreiber has given her a ring -- but neither of them wants to rush into marriage.

In the More interview, Watts also opens up about her relationship with former boyfriend Heath Ledger. "We had a beautiful relationship, only a couple of years, but he was a man who was completely full of joy, and there was a lot of laughing and affection," she says. "He was really a very special soul and made a great impact on my life."
