For Lindsay Lohan, attracting unwanted attention is something of an art form. Sometimes that means getting caught up in a shoplifting scandal or hurling cocktails at a photographer. Other times, all it takes is flashing her smile on the red carpet.

The 25-year-old actress is once again causing a media stir, thanks to photos from an Oct. 1 red-carpet event in Los Angeles that highlight what look to be Lohan's yellowing, decaying teeth (see above) -- as well as blotches on her hands.

But just because Lindsay's teeth aren't whiter than white, doesn't mean she's not a sparkling star. At least, that's what her rep is saying.

"Lindsay is widely acknowledged as one of the most stunning actresses of her day, and we get requests every week wanting to do photo shoots with her from top photographers," Lohan's representative, Steve Honig, tells People. "She's been on the cover of Vanity Fair and the top beauty and fashion magazines. She's a beautiful and glamorous actress."

What's more, Honig also -- quite rightly -- points out that there are more pressing matters to worry about than LiLo's oral hygiene.

"With everything going on -- from deteriorating public education to rampant homelessness to international unrest," says Honig, "there is no way I'm going to comment on Lindsay's teeth." Um, we thought you just did.
