Madonna: I Wouldn't Kiss Britney Spears Again

Madonna kissed a girl and liked it at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards -- but that doesn't mean she wants to do it again.

The 53-year-old pop star sat down for an interview with Nightline -- which aired Thursday night -- and was asked about that long-ago VMAs moment when she famously took the stage with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Although she locked lips with both of them, her smooch with Spears is much more famous.

"Nice moment, good kisser, cool," Madonna said, when asked to respond to a photo of the iconic kiss. But would she do it again? "No, I already did it," she said. "I don't like to repeat myself."
 

Madonna was then taken through several more watershed moments of her life. One of them was at another MTV awards show where she was dressed up in her "boy-toy" costume.

"It was the MTV awards. I lost my shoe, I did a stage dive, my dress went up, everyone saw my underpants, scandal, scandal, scandal," she recalled. "My manager told me that my career was over with. And he was wrong."

After being shown images of herself working as a director and hanging out with ex Sean Penn, Madonna finally responded to a picture of herself in 2009 with daughter Lourdes (whom she calls Lola) and adopted son David, now 15 and 5, respectively.

"Oh my god, Lola is so little there... Look at how chubby David is. He's a string bean now. It's crazy," she said. "David is already saying, 'No pictures.' It's cute."
