Amanda Bynes Arrested for DUI: Mug Shot

Amanda Bynes starred in She's the Man, but she's probably not feeling like "the man" today. The 26-year-old actress was arrested in Los Angeles early Friday morning for driving under the influence, after not-so-smoothly crashing her BMW into the rear end of a stopped police car.

According to the statement the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department released to People, at around 3 a.m. on Friday, "a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy in a marked black and white radio car, was stopped at the intersection of... Robertson Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard preparing to turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard when a black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel of the radio car."

No one was injured in the accident, although the statement says "there was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles." Bynes was promptly arrested and transported to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, where she was booked for DUI and took the rather unfortunate mug shot above (pink hair, huh?).

GossipCop, who first broke the story, reported that Bynes was being held on $5,000 bail. TMZ has since confirmed that the actress was released from jail at 10:30 a.m. PT.
