Making a breathtaking arrival at the Cinema Society with The Hollywood Reporter & Piaget and Disaronno special screening of her newest film, Penelope Cruz was spotted hitting the red carpet at Casa Lever in New York City on Wednesday night (June 20).
The brunette beauty looked stunning in a violet lace cocktail dress as she joined her fellow “To Rome with Love” cast mate Greta Gerwig and the film’s director Woody Allen.
When speaking of working with the famous filmmaker, the Latina actress said, “"I would love to work with him 20 times. I'm fascinated by his personality. Even a day of press, which is not my favorite part of this job, he makes it so interesting and so fun.”
The 38-year-old actress added, “"I love playing someone that has no mental filter, that says everything that she feels. It's very liberating. I'm not very much like that, a little bit more controlled,” when discussing her new role in the romantic film.
“To Rome with Love” is scheduled to hit theatres this Friday (June 22).
