Charlie Sheen Trashes His N.Y.C. Hotel Room?

It looks like all that Anger Management might have paid off for Charlie Sheen.

On Tuesday night, Us Weekly ran a story claiming that Sheen -- in New York to promote his new FX show Anger Management (debuting June 28) -- had been banned from all Ritz-Carlton hotels after trashing his room at the N.Y.C. Ritz-Carlton while allegedly hosting a wild party attended by a plethora of female escorts. The report was especially disoncerting considering that the 46-year-old actor was accompanied on the trip by ex-wife Denise Richards and their children Sam, 8, and Lola, 6.

But now reps for both Sheen and the hotel chain have come out and said Sheen was on his best behavior.

"Charlie did not trash his hotel room," Larry Solters, Sheen's rep, told Us in a statement. "He checked in to room 2207 on Friday and checked out of room 2207 today. Charlie was not told that he is no longer welcome at the Ritz Carlton."

Allison Stitch, the vice president of Global Public Relations with Ritz-Carlton, reinforces those sentiments in her own statement.

"We do not disclose details or identity of any guest staying in our hotels. I confirm that the hotel was in pristine condition on Friday, June 22 and remains so today Tuesday, June 26," she says. "There has been no issue there. Mr. Sheen is absolutely welcome in any Ritz- Carlton hotel in the portfolio."

TMZ has some documents -- including Sheen's hotel bill -- and interviews with hotel employees that seem to back this up.

These claims were very reminiscent of an October 2010 incident in which Sheen, again on vacation with Richards and their kids, trashed his room at New York City's Plaza Hotel. Sheen, who at the time was staying in a room across the hall from Richards and the kids, caused a reported $7,000 in damages during a tantrum that occurred while a female escort was in his room.

Sheen ended up being hospitalized after police found him intoxicated in his suite, although Sheen's rep claimed that he had "an adverse allergic reaction to some medication."

We're really hoping that these new reports aren't true, especially because Sheen and Richards, 41, seem to be getting along so swimmingly these days.

"He and I are like best friends now. Confidants," Richards told Rolling Stone recently. "He tells me everything."

Sheen was quick to add, "And we sleep in separate rooms. Everybody's going to want to know that, too."
