Lea Michele & Her “Glee” Co-Stars' Hard Workin' Weekend

While most of the world was busy relaxing and having fun, the stars of “Glee” were all about cranking out some new episodes of their hit show over the weekend.

Lea Michele filmed scenes at Battery Park, New York City along with costar/boyfriend Cory Monteith last night (August 12).

Earlier in the weekend, Lea tweeted, “SO excited for this weekend! It’s been my dream to shoot #glee in NYC and now this season we’ll be shooting half of Rachel’s story here!” followed by “Early morning shooting #glee in NYC!!! So exciting !!!”

As for how she maintains such a flawless look, Lea told press, “I’m the girl who goes to bed at night with the face mask, the hair mask. I don’t care what I look like when I go to bed; I care about what I look like when I wake up in the morning. Maybe I’ll put on a little mascara, but other than that I try very hard to just let my skin breathe. I care more about letting my skin breathe than how I look.”

Ms. Michele added, “I love hiking, going to the gym, doing some simple stuff. I love being outdoors, I love bike riding. Just stuff that’s fun. Working out for me is something I do when I feel like it. But it’s really about feeling good and taking care of my body rather than having to fit into any sort of model or anything like that.

Meanwhile, “Glee” will be featuring Carly Rae Jepsen’s mega-hit song “Call Me Maybe” on the September 13th season four premiere!
