Claire Danes Talks "Soccer Ball" Belly with Kelly Ripa

Zipping her way through New York City after her appearance on "Live with Kelly," Claire Danes headed back to her hotel today (September 4).

The "Homeland" star wore a beige dress to cover her growing baby bump with a black sweater and black flats. She and husband Hugh Dancy are expecting their first child.

While unable to conceal her pregnancy now that her belly is "soccer ball" sized, the 33-year-old actress wasn't willing to dish on all the details with host Kelly Ripa today.

“It is a human being, which is a profound relief,” she joked.

While filming her Showtime series, editors may have to get crafty to work around the obvious baby belly. Claire explained, "[i]t’s now getting to the point where I’m looking a little knocked up. They haven’t written it in, but they’ll be able to manipulate it in post and do some CGI trickery and make Carrie not so pregnant."
