Kim Kardashian Says 'Intuition' Told Her to Divorce

After escaping the media frenzy in the States to promote her new handbag collection Down Under, Kim Kardashian sat down with protective younger sister Khloe Kardashian for a live interview on Australia's popular morning talk-show, Sunrise.

With her sister by her side, Kim proceeded to open up to the Sydney morning-TV hosts about her marriage and her decision to file for divorce. She also admitted that she understands why her very public life makes fans curious about the private details of her split.

When asked if she worked hard to make her 72-day marriage work, Kardashian replied: "I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just have to listen to your intuition and follow your heart, there's no right or wrong thing to do," she said. "I didn't want to disappoint anyone, but I had to follow my heart."

But Kardashian, 31, says what hurts her most isn't how short her marriage was but how much speculation there is about whether she profited from her extravagant August nuptials.

"From the start there have been so many rumors of money and dollar signs thrown up into the air," said Kim, who managed to never utter Kris Humphries' name throughout the entire interview. "This much and this much and this much and so much of it not being true, so it's kind of what you get living your life so publicly on a reality show."

Despite the growning rumors, Kim had already made it clear that her wedding was real and not just a publicity stunt. And now she's out to prove that she didn't profit from the ordeal. But somehow, we're still not completely convinced. What do you think?
