"The X Factor" U.S. Renewed for Season 2

After hitting U.S. airwaves for the first time ever back in September, ?The X Factor? has been cleared for a second season.

According to Coming Soon, FOX has ordered another season of the singing competition show.

Of the news, the show?s producer and judge, Simon Cowell, told press, "I am absolutely thrilled with the news. I have loved making the show and I want to thank FOX, our sponsors and most importantly, the fans for supporting THE X FACTOR."

Coming up tonight (November 2), the top 12 season one finalists will take the stage for their live performances at 8pm ET on FOX.
