Donating a full day of their precious time in the name of charity, a handful of Hollywood's stars joined forces for second running of "THE 24 HOUR PLAYS" in Santa Monica, California this weekend.
Held at the Shore Hotel, lovely ladies such as Ashley Greene, Brooklyn Decker and Jessica Szohr were among the twenty-four actors and actresses turning up on Friday night at 10 p.m. while joining writers, directors and a production team in crafting six plays which were performed before a live audience just 24 hours later on Saturday night (June 16).
With Wilmer Valderrama, Rosie Perez, Jason Biggs, Alexander Ludwig, Joshua Jackson and Janina Gavankar among the other thespians pitching in, the event raised funds for Urban Arts Partnership - which is self-described as "a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the intellectual, social and artistic development of underserved public school students through arts-integrated education programs."
Taking to Twitter upon the conclusion of the ambitious effort, Miss Greene of "Twilight" stardom wrote, "we are all crazy people! Just finished #24HRLA with @iamjessicaszohr @brooklyndecker @ashley_fink and a million others! Best. Night. Ever." She then added, "I feel like I was just at adult summer camp with the most incredible and talented people. #24HRLA"
Making her appearance extra-commendable, Miss Decker flew in from London just hours before "THE 24 HOUR PLAYS" got underway while having to return to the UK once the fundraising efforts wrapped up.
Of the travel-intensive undertaking, Brooklyn tweeted, "A quick trip from London to LA for @UrbanArtsNYC 24 Hour Plays! May the force be w/me.. Ready to enjoy 2 days of sunshine then back to UK!"
