Big Sean definitely believes in the power of advertising.

After all, he's the man who hung a title like "Dance (A$$)" on his latest single, a handle that was practically guaranteed to attract a certain, uh, clientele. So when it came time to do a video for the song, well, let's just say he needed to deliver the goods. And we are happy to report to all the posterior proponents out there that he has done just that. And then some.

Because the "Dance" video — which premiered online Tuesday — is definitely packing more ass than a Grand Canyon Mule Tour, thanks in no small part to the contributions of Ms. Nicki Minaj, who shows up midway (in a pair of Union Jack hotpants) to spit some delightfully raunchy verses and basically shake it to the ground. Of course, Sean also fills the vid with plenty of other scantily clad ladies, a nod to the song's stripper semantics and its musical DNA, which draws X and Y chromosomes from Detroit bass (and booty) master DJ Assault and regional faire like Chicago Juke Music.

And, as D-Town native Sean told MTV News last month on the set of the video, all of that was intentional.

"A lot of people think 'A$$' is just some funny stuff, but that's really a Detroit-sounding music ... that was one of the reasons why I put it on my album; people in Detroit know that's, like, the essence of Detroit music," he explained. "I didn't want to limit the song, I didn't want to limit the video, so, [there's] definitely a lot of girls, definitely a lot of ass, but it's in a tasteful way; still kept it artistic."

'Artistic,' is, of course, a relative term. But working with the director tandem of Mike Watson and Mike Waxx, Sean has managed to craft a clip that's plenty clever (witness the scenes in which Sean sits atop a gold throne, surrounded by graffiti ... it's a dead-ringer for the opening credits of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air") and really cheeky, too (pun intended). And, give credit where credit is due: Big Sean set expectations pretty high just by calling the song "A$$," and clearly, the man knows how to back it up. Yes, pun intended once again.
