Emma Watson Introduces Her 'Bling Ring' Character

Giving her fans a sneak peek of what her newest role will look like, Emma Watson took to her Twitter page on Wednesday (May 2) to show off herself in character as "Nicki," from her upcoming film, "The Bling Ring."

The 22-year-old actress appeared quite differently than her career-igniting gig as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" franchise, as this time she sported a pink velour tracksuit, UGG boots, tattoos and a more rebellious facial expression while captioning her picture, "Twitterers meet Nicki, Nicki meet twitterers : ) @blingringmovie."

Miss Watson is portraying a fictional character based off of former E! reality star, Alexis Neiers, who was an original member of "The Bling Ring."

The Sofia Coppola directed picture is based off of actual events where Miss Neiers and her fellow fame-obsessed teenagers used the Internet to track celebrities' whereabouts in order to rob their homes. Some of the victims included Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson.

An exact release date has not been set just yet, but the film is expected to hit theaters in 2013.
