With her head held high, Linda Evangelista was spotted at the Manhattan Family Court where a settlement has been reached in her child support case against her 5-year-old son's French billionaire father Francois-Henri Pinault.
The 46-year-old supermodel walked confidently past the shutterbugs in a flower print dress that she paired with black pumps and dark sunglasses.
Evangelista supposedly asked for around $46,000 a month to take care of their 5-year-old son Augustin, however, she denied requesting that amount last Thursday in court and - since then - no other figure has been mentioned.
Pinault's attorney, David Aronson, said in opening statements last Friday, "Most of the expenses [in Evangelista's list of $46,000-a-month in child care expenses] do not relate to Augie but they relate to Ms. Evangelista,"
Francois - who is currently married to Salma Hayek - admitted to not steadily paying child support, saying, "I'm not going to pay money I'm not asked for," in court last Thursday.
Evangelista's attorney, William Beslow, pointed out that Pinault never responded to a letter sent by Beslow asking to discuss child support payments in 2007, which reads, "Dear Francois, your silence is deafening? we owe it to our clients to conclude this matter."
Both parties are expected to head back to court tomorrow to go through the final details of the settlement in writing.
