Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Already Married?

Liam Hemsworth is so excited to marry Miley Cyrus that he's getting a bit ahead of himself.

The 22-year-old Australian hunk recently accepted an award at the Australians in Film Awards and Benefit Dinner, but made a pretty big gaffe when he went to thank his 19-year-old fiancee in his speech. He started talking about their experience working together on The Last Song but ended up telling the audience something else entirely.

"I was fortunate enough to get called back in to read with my now-fiancee, who I recently got engaged to," he said according to People. "And we read together and fell in love and now we're married."

Married?! Really? Did they somehow sneak in a super-secret ceremony when no one was looking? Well, not exactly.

Hemsworth was quick to rectify his mistake, saying, "Well, not married yet."

"We will be!" Cyrus shouted from the audience.

Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if these two lovebirds did rush to the altar. They've been dating for ages and were rumored to be tying the knot as early as next week -- though that's likely an exaggeration.

Thursday night, Cyrus posted a vague tweet that made many wonder if she and Hemsworth were going to marry sooner than people expected.

"The weight of the world is too strong. The wait to be yours is to long. In this bed alone I feel to small. I want none if not all," she tweeted.

Cyrus and Hemsworth (who got engaged on May 31) have been dating for three years. No one knows for sure when they'll actually say their vows, but we're guessing it will be an affair to remember!
