Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield Dating?

Our spidey senses are tingling -- could we be sensing a new Hollywood super-couple? The Amazing Spider-Man costars Andrew Garfield, 27, and Emma Stone, 22, are secretly dating, according to Us Weekly. The two actors, who play Peter Parker (a.k.a. Spider-Man) and his feisty high school girlfriend Gwen Stacey, got close during filming -- and, according to the magazine, the romance didn't end when the movie wrapped in May.

"They haven't gone public, but he's told his friends," says Us Weekly's source, who confirmed that the stars have "gotten close" and been "hooking up."

Garfield (who rose to fame with last year's The Social Network) reportedly wanted to keep the relationship quiet to avoid hurt feelings. He and his longtime girlfriend 26-year-old Raising Hope star Shannon Woodward, broke up in May after dating for three years. Easy A star Stone also recently ended a relationship, with 28-year-old actor Kieran Culkin. But in the July issue of Elle, Stone hinted that her new boyfriend might have a famous face.

"I don't think that's true (that celebrity relationships don't work)," the young actress declared. "There's a fair amount that do work... I'm optimistic."

And although Garfield hasn't gone public about dating Stone, during the filming of Spider-Man (which is due out July 3, 2012) he did tell E! Online that Emma's "the kind of person who brings in cookies and banana bread." And you know what they say about the quickest way to a (spider) man's heart!
