This is 40 Trailer: Paul Rudd Stars in Knocked Up Quasi-Sequel

Katherine Heigl is long gone, but Knocked Up is getting a sequel. Sort of.

This is 40 stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, who reprise their roles as Heigl’s sister and brother-in-law from the 2007 hit, in an examination of ... turning 40.

Director Judd Apatow's real-life children, Maude and Iris Apatow, are back for the quasi-sequel as well as the offspring of the nearly-middle-aged couple.

The film, which also features Jason Segel and Melissa McCarthy, chronicles the angst of hitting the big 4-0 as only Apatow can. This is the trailer for This is 40:

Judd Apatow's 'This Is 40' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd are back as Debbie and Pete, picking up in their marriage where they left off in "Knocked Up."

Ever wonder what happened to Alison's sister and brother-in-law from "Knocked Up"? The dynamic duo of Debbie (Leslie Mann) and Pete (Paul Rudd) had a few key scenes in the film, including Debbie taking Alison (Katherine Heigl) to the club where she meets Seth Rogen's character.

Now Judd Apatow aims to brings us back into the lives of the couple as Debbie celebrates her 40th birthday in "This Is 40." Continually lying about her age as she refuses to accept it, Debbie wonders if she's living the best life possible and decides she and Pete need to make some changes.

"I've made a list," she tells her husband in a scene from the trailer, which was released on Friday (April 27). "It's the 'do-better' list. We're 40 years old, if we don't do it now, when are we going to do it?"

Read on for more on five key scenes from the clip!

Counting the Rings
At the gynecologist's office, the nurses try to figure out if Debbie was born in 1972, '74 or '75 since her paperwork lists a range of dates of birth. When Debbie finally blurts out, "I lie about my age, OK? OK?" her gynecologist responds, "I know how old you are. I'm counting the rings." And with that line, we know typical Apatow humor will be on display in this flick. After that exchange, Debbie decides it's time for a change and makes a list of the top three things she and her husband need to focus on now that they're in their 40s: exercise, the kids' education and being patient.

Exercise Every Day
In one scene, Debbie works with a personal trainer, which allows the filmmakers to bring back Jason Segel's "Knocked Up" character, also named Jason. "I can turn your body into a boner machine," he tells Debbie. When she points out that every woman gives him a boner, he replies, "Don't sell yourself short," before adding in a whisper, "Barb doesn't give me a boner." Looks like Jason's crush on Alison's sister never went away.

Get Involved in School
As Pete confronts a mother whose son is picking on his daughter, "Bridesmaids" star Melissa McCarthy makes a cameo as the confrontational mommy. She tells Pete to get his daughter's meds right and Pete calls her son an animal. When Pete gives her shoulder a little shove, she screams, "You touched my nipple!" When he tells her he merely touched her below her shoulder, she replies, "I have very high nipples!" How Rudd kept from breaking into laughter during that scene is beyond us.

More Patience With the Kids
Another key scene opens with Pete and Debbie's daughters pulling each other's hair as they fight in the back seat of the car. It then cuts to them at the dinner table, where Debbie announces they're cutting back on the girls' gadget use so they'll spend more time outside. She suggests instead that they build a fort, to which the exasperated eldest daughter exclaims, "And do what in the fort?" When Debbie says, "You don't need technology," the youngest daughter holds an iPhone up to her mouth and says, "No technology," as a monkey on the screen mimics her words.

Payback Time
The final scene shows Pete spread-eagle on a bed, holding a mirror up to his crotch trying to look at ... something. (We honestly don't want to know what.) When he asks Debbie to take a look, she asks if they can just keep a small shred of mystery in their relationship. Pete replies, "I saw you have babies — payback time." At least being in your 40s isn't boring.

"This Is 40" is set to hit theaters Christmas 2012.

Ashton Kutcher: 4 Women In 4 Days!

milaash1_wide.jpg
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may have just gone on a short trip together, but if the actress is smart she will be careful, as many claim Ashton's all too eager to move on from his split with Demi — and on, and on, and on. “Ashton is single and feels he can date as many women as he wants,” a friend of the 34-year-old explains to In Touch.

On one wild weekend, In Touch can exclusively report that the bawdy bachelor hooked up with not one, not two, not even three, but four hot girls! After a rebound romance with producer Lorene Scafaria and a sexy sleepover with Rihanna in March, Ashton arrived at a Passover bash at the Kabbalah Centre in New York on April 12 with another beauty on his arm. The next night, he was spotted seducing two young blondes at Mister H in the Big Apple’s Mondrian SoHo hotel.

Then, two days later, the star shared a sushi date with his former That ’70s Show co-star Mila Kunis at Asanebo in LA. “Ashton was getting very touchy-feely with her,” a pal says. “He was grabbing her hand the whole time.”

But while the other women were just one-night stands for the newly minted player, the pal swears that Mila is different. “Ashton’s always had a crush on her,” the pal admits of the ex-castmates, who began working together on the hit sitcom as teens. “But Mila had a serious boyfriend.” When Mila broke up with Macaulay Culkin — and Ashton’s marriage crumbled — Ashton told Mila that he was going through a tough time and needed a friend. Soon, the pair were talking regularly — and while Ashton hopes to take things to the next level with Mila, the pal says right now men are not her priority.

Chelsea Handler Refers To Angelina Jolie As "The Opposite Of A Girl's Girl"

chels1.jpg Chelsea Handler has made a name for herself with a take no prisoners comedy style and blunt attitude in a number of best selling books. In an interview that hit newsstands this week the comedian and TV host maintains her image as she clears common misconceptions and opens up about other Hollywood stars in More Magazine's May cover story.

A known friends to Jennifer Aniston, Chelsea chose Angelina Jolie as the opposite of a girl's girl. "You just know as a woman when you see another woman if that’s a woman you can trust. She (Jolie) doesn’t strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with.”

Chelsea also cleared the air about some rumors attached to her through recent years. Did a relationship with an E! executive get her on TV? "He’s not responsible for me selling out arenas. All he did was recognize talent."

Is Chelsea attached to that vodka bottle she always refers to? "I don’t drink as much as I should—or as much as people think I do. It’s more for diet than the actual drinking thing."

Beyonce DISHES To PEOPLE On Jay-Z Loving Her "Domestic Look", Cutting Her Own Hair & Her Obsession With BLUE!

The most beautiful woman in the world opened up to PEOPLE magazine about her obsession with her gorgeous daughter, Blue Ivy, her post-baby workout routine (she debunks the in-home trainer rumor), swapping her heels for flats, and her husband loving her new domestic look--no makeup and flats!

More pics and quotes from Beyonce's exclusive interview with People inside...

Beyonce covers PEOPLE mag as the most beautiful woman in the world.  You've seen the cover and a glimpse of Bey's first post-baby interview.  But now that we've seen the whole spread, here's some things you should know...

On how Blue Ivy changed her body:

My toes and feet are a lot rougher since I have become a mom.  Other than that, I try to take care of myself drinking a gallon of water a day with lemon.

On Jay-Z loving her domestic look:

He loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising – he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural – just the relaxed, natural me.’

On embracing motherhood:

I'm obsessed with Blue.  And I mean that in many ways.  I just stare at her all day.  She is my favorite thing in the world and my number one job is to protect her.

On her newfound love for flats

I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels.  Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love the, because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too.

On dropping the glam squad to handle her hair herself

'I recently cut two inches myself - I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh!'

On getting her body right post-baby
Beyoncé revealed how breast-feeding her little one for ten weeks helped her lose ‘the bulk’ of her pregnancy weight, but that she’s now on a strict-protein based diet. She now works out three times a week for 90 minutes, doing a combination of running, dancing and crunches. "I’m definitely softer, but I feel my body bouncing back.  And no, I don't have a trainer living with me."

On adjusting how she sees herself post-baby

Every day in my life is a part of my history, and I've worked really hard on my career and my life.  So I make sure I wouldn't be upset if somebody saw me. I've been mostly wearing my hair slicked back in a ponytail and no makeup, just sunglasses and lip gloss...When I've just gotten out of the shower, I feel really beautiful then.  When [my makeup] is off and I can feel my own skin.

On her in-labor look

I tried to always wrap my hair and I put some lipgloss on before going in.  But after many hours of labor, I didn't care how I looked.

In the photo above, Bey wears a Marchesa Spring 2012 tulle gown, a Lorraine Schwartz turquoise bracelet and necklace and a Lorraine Schwartz diamond bracelet.

Motherhood so agrees with her.  The 30-year-old superstar is gearing up for her sold out 3-night comeback concerts at Revel Resort in Atlantic City during Memorial Day weekend.  Can't wait!

'Snooki & J-WOWW' Spin-Off Trailer

'Snooki & J-WOWW' Spin-Off Trailer

If you've ever wondered what Jersey Shore would be like without all that testosterone, then wonder no more! The new spin-off, starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, is debuting in June, and the first preview has just been released. Watch it below!

The Snooki & JWOWW trailer answers our biggest question about the show: How will they deal with Snooki's pregnancy? And the answer goes a little something like this...

Snooki: I really need to tell you something. I'm pregnant. And engaged.

JWOWW: How did this happen?

Snooki: Sex.

Glad that's been cleared up! Despite Snooki's big news, she still decides to move into a Jersey City apartment with Jenni instead of shacking up with her fiance Jionni. And while Jenni is not pregnant (that we know of!), she too opts to live with her BFF instead of moving in with longtime boyfriend Roger. Is this situation a little too contrived for its own good? Not when Snooki explains it.

"Me and Jenny have the rest of our lives to stick our heads up Roger and Jionni's asses," she says in the preview. "I think right now is the prime time for us to be together, to just enjoy life as best friends."

And when she puts it like that, it's actually kind of great. Who among us wouldn't spend a year with our best girlfriend if given the opportunity? As they're getting ready to leave their partying years behind them, it's nice to see Snooki and JWOWW get some quality time in together (without the interruptions of the "grenade whistle" or Ronnie and Sam's constant fighting).

It also seems clear that Snooki's pregnancy is going to be a main focus of the show. Once again, the Guidette Princess of Poughkeepsie puts it better than we ever could, telling the camera, "The fact that I can reproduce is very scary." We can't even imagine what it will be like when Snooki's nesting instincts kick in. Let's just hope that JWOWW had the foresight to stock up on pickles!

Snooki & JWOWW premieres June 21 on MTV.

SERIOUSLY? Shaunie O'Neal ADMITS Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman Are BULLIES On "Basketball Wives"

"Executive Producer" Shaunie O'Neal is speaking out about what's been happening on "Basketball Wives" lately and she admits that some of the ladies on the show can be "bullies." Shocker.  Get the deets inside.......

During a chat with Hip Hollywood, Shaunie O'Neal confirmed what we already know....Evelyn Lozada is a bully.  But instead of simply throwing Evelyn under the bus, Shaunie cleaned it up adding that Evelyn is such a "strong" personality that when she is put up against someone like Jennifer, she could seem a bit overwhelming.

As for Tami Roman, Shaunie compared her to Evelyn and said she is a sweetheart.  But she added that you might not want to cross her.

But what she left out was if she thinks bullies have the right to lay hands on others.  Hmmm.......

Shaunie is going to have to come a little better than that as I'm sure Star Jones and the rest of the ladies gearing up for a boycott aren't going to buy into the whole "strong personality" thing.

At this point, it simply looks like Shaunie is trying to save face and protect her brand.  We all know she doesn't have any real creative control over what the show airs, yet she still continues to defend what is broadcast.  She released a statement recently saying,

"I'm extremely happy that Basketball Wives continues to have another successful fourth season. As the ratings have been through the roof since our season opener, fans continue to tune into the lives of Evelyn, Tami, Jennifer, Royce, Suzie and myself. As there is always controversy and indifference projected on the show, because we are all individual personalities, I always hope that people will find that as much as you may agree or disagree with the opinions, the behavior, [and] even our different taste in shoes, you are taking a look inside the lives of four complete different women. I will never say I agree with some of the behavior between my girlfriends on the show, but if we were to edit certain things out the show would be scripted and not reality.

As a woman of color with kids, I am very aware of myself, but I also have to be aware that my choices cannot be the same for everyone on the show and I have to respect that. I hope the fans feel they see a balance and know we have always been real with our stories, even though it may not always be a positive portrayal of adult women but real women nonetheless. I look forward to developing other media platforms in the future and hope that fans will continue to support."

Alrighty.

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson: 'Pure' Sin City Lovers

Spotted out spending the weekend together in Sin City, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson were seen starting off their Saturday (April 28) festivities getting up close and personal poolside at Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand.

The pair looked happy together as they both flashed smiles for awaiting photographers. The 28 year-old model was bikini-clad in a red and white striped ensemble that left little to the imagination, while the former bachelor sported multi-color stripe swim trunks, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

After spending their day basking in the sun, the pair followed their night up with a PDA-filled evening at PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace. Before heading off, Flajnik took to his Twitter page, writing, "Courtney and I are headed to #Vegas! Come party with us @PureLasVegas Saturday, April 28!"

Before making their way into the famous nightclub the reality TV duo stopped to pose on the red carpet. Robertson donned a gorgeous white and black sequin mini dress with strappy black heels while Ben opted for dark jeans, black boots and a suit vest with a button up under shirt.

While inside, the happy couple were spotted kissing, dancing the night away and sipping on some of their favorite drinks.

'Fifty Shades Of Grey': What's In It For 'Hunger Games' Fans?

As the E.L. James novel bumps the dystopian drama from the top of the bestseller list, we ask a few of Panem's faithful if fans should give it a read.
By Amy Wilkinson

Katniss Everdeen and her trusty bow and arrow can no longer fend off Christian Grey and his punishing whips — "Fifty Shades of Grey" has bumped "The Hunger Games" from its #1 perch on USA Today's bestseller list. And it's a contentious battle, to be sure. Seven of the top 10 are dominated by the various series installments by "Grey" author E.L. James and "Hunger Games" author Suzanne Collins.

It probably goes without saying that the content of these two sagas couldn't be more different: "The Hunger Games" is a teen novel chronicling a young heroine's fight for survival in a televised death match against 23 other kids, while "Fifty Shades of Grey" is an erotically charged page-turner detailing the sexcapades of a billionaire and his young paramour. Yet, both have managed to capture the attention of publishers, producers and pop-culture pundits.

While "The Hunger Games" was busy dominating the box office to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars, Universal Pictures and Focus Features (perhaps inspired by Lionsgate's success with the book-to-film adaptation) snatched up the film rights to James' buzzy novel for an undisclosed sum. A few weeks later, the English author was named to Time 's 100 Most Influential People in the World list.

Full disclosure: I've been hesitant to pick up "Fifty Shades of Grey" owning to its "Twilight" fanfic roots and "mommy porn" reputation, but as someone who writes about both books and films, I'll eventually need to become familiar with the life and times of Christian Grey — for purely professional reasons, of course. But is there anything in it for "Hunger Games" fans looking for another high-profile novel to devour? I asked a few of Panem's faithful.

"I haven't actually read 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' but I confess that way back in the day, when it was called 'Master of the Universe' and was posted for free online as 'Twilight' fan fiction, I did read it," said Hunger Games Examiner's Sara Gundell. "It is a dirty, dirty story — but hey, sometimes filthy fan fiction is fun to read. And while there is plenty of 'Hunger Games' fan fiction online (and plenty of it is also dirty), I'm not sure 'Fifty Shades of Grey' will appeal to most fans of 'The Hunger Games' based on what attracted them to that series. There isn't really any way to compare the two. They don't have similar themes, and the characters don't share any similar traits. They really are nothing alike. That doesn't mean some 'Hunger Games' fans won't enjoy it, but I can't see it having any sort of universal, crossover appeal. They just don't have anything in common, really."

For MTV News staffer Christina Garibaldi, the saucy series served as a palate cleanser after the death and destruction of the dystopian drama.

"As a reader of both 'The Hunger Games' and 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' I have to admit I'm a huge fan of both," she said. "Both stories have taken their audiences by storm, but keep in mind that 'Fifty Shades of Grey' does skew a little older and to women, while 'Hunger Games' seems to please both male and female readers. Yet, if you are anything like me and enjoy mixing up your reading between love stories and action novels, then pick up both books! You will not be disappointed."

Then there's The Hob's Megan Scott, who says she sees at least one (tongue firmly in cheek) similarity: hunger.

"I have been sucked into the 'Fifty Shades' vortex and am enjoying it immensely," she said. "Anything that is getting a lot of hype and is considered controversial I'll pick up. There really is nothing that really comes to mind that would intrigue an "HG" fan other than the common theme of hunger, but let's face it, Christian Grey's hunger is the different sort."

Consensus: While the two best-selling series share very little in common thematically, odds are in your favor that "Grey" may be as hard to put down as "The Hunger Games."

'Walking Dead' Creator Stays 'Invincible' During Show's Hiatus

Comic-book writer talks to MTV News about what to expect in season three, which begins filming next week.
By Josh Wigler

Robert Kirkman is a busy man. Not only is the comic book writer and executive producer behind the flesh-craving juggernaut known as "The Walking Dead" currently hard at work on the AMC series' upcoming third season — "We begin filming next week," Kirkman told MTV News during a recent interview — he's also keeping his nose buried in the paneled page, cooking up brand new highs and lows for longtime readers of his flagship titles.

In the pages of Kirkman's superhero epic "Invincible," the writer has put lead character Mark Grayson through the wringer recently. "He's been a bit under the weather, slightly near death," Kirkman cracked during our chat. Replacing him in the yellow-and-blue tights for the time being is Bulletproof, an "Invincible" mainstay who always harbored a secret desire to wear the Invincible uniform. It's all part of the build-up toward the milestone issue #100, launching in January 2013.

"That's actually the 10-year anniversary of the first issue shipping. We totally shipped some issues late to make sure the timing worked out," he joked. "We know what we're doing here!"

Staying in the "Invincible" universe, Kirkman's bringing the superhero team at the center of "Guarding the Globe" back for an all-new ongoing series from writer Phil Hester ("Firebreather") and illustrator Todd Nauck ("Young Justice"), with the Bulletproof-Invincible tagging along for the ride.

"He'll be a big part of that series," Kirkman revealed, adding that "Guarding the Globe" was created out of a desire to explore the many characters that "Invincible" doesn't have room to focus on in depth. "Corey Walker, Ryan Ottley and I have created a bunch of characters for Invincible, just something that we'd like to do. After we'd done 100 issues, we figured if we gave everyone a page, we'd still only see them every four or five issues. There are just so many characters we never get around to showing or doing anything interesting with. It makes sense to have this second book that can focus on Brit, Black Samson and some of the newer cast like Yeti and Kaboomerang, a favorite of mine."

Of course, Kirkman's also been working on a little thing you may have heard about: "The Walking Dead." Like "Invincible," the "Walking Dead" comic book series is rapidly approaching its 100th issue. The milestone event will hit comic shops this July, right in time for Comic-Con, and smack dab in the middle of the writer's "Something to Fear" story line.

"They basically discovered this larger community that's part of a network," Kirkman said of what's been happening in recent issues of "Walking Dead." "To be a part of this network and to share resources, they have to become involved in this sort of barter system, where everybody contributes where they can to get something in return. Rick realizes that the only thing he can contribute is protection and, essentially, being a badass — because everyone in his group is a bunch of badasses. This other group is beholden to this very violent group of people who basically rule through intimidation. Rick says, 'I'll take care of this group for you if you put us into your bartering network, and give us food.' Now Rick has to go back to his allies and sell them on it. He's gone out on a limb and volunteered them for something very dangerous."

Very dangerous indeed, if the recently revealed "Walking Dead" #100 cover is any indication. The illustration depicts the most prominent deceased characters from "Walking Dead" lore strewn about a virtually endless pile of bodies — needless to say, don't go seeking out the cover if you're afraid of "Walking Dead" TV spoilers. Given the nature of the upcoming arc, it's looking like even more bodies will join that pile by the time issue #101 hits shelves.

"Maybe slightly before #101," he teased. "We'll see."

Kirkman's work in comics goes far beyond "Invincible," "Guarding the Globe" and "Walking Dead." His latest book, is currently developing for television (once again through AMC). At the moment, however, much of the writer's time is devoted to "Walking Dead" season three, which begins production next week and hits airwaves next fall. Season two cleaned house on several fan-favorite characters including Shane and Dale, leaving the door wide open for some new memorable faces, such as the despicable Governor played by British actor David Morrissey.

But easily the most anticipated newcomer of the bunch is Michonne, the sword-wielding zombie killer introduced in the season-two finale. Danai Gurira plays the role in season three, and Kirkman said she has a lot of hard work ahead of her.

"Danai is an absolutely fantastic actress," he said. "That role is going to be absolutely grueling. It'll put her through her paces. She'll have to do a lot of sword work. I can't say a lot about what she's going to do, but everyone who has read the comic knows Michonne is a badass. We'll see a lot of that in the show as well. Danai has really been diving into that head first with lots of sword training. We begin filming next week, so we'll be working with her a lot, and we're excited to have her on board."

What do you think of Robert Kirkman's comic book updates? Are you excited to see Michonne more in season three? Let us know in the comments section below!

Alrighty.

In sleek vintage-style visuals for the Heavy D, Salaam Remi & Da Internz produced track, Nas flosses all over New York city in his crisp white Tom Ford tuxedo jacket and matching white Rolls Royce.  June Ambrose worked her styling magic in the video.

Brooklyn Decker Dressed For Battle

brooklyn1_wide.jpg
Battleship star Brooklyn Decker keeps conquering the red carpet while promoting her film. Her stylist Annie Ladino reveals to In Touch she filled up six racks with clothing just for the European press tour alone.

"Brooklyn's suitcase was so big, she actually fit inside of it. She had to borrow one of my enormous trunks," Ladino tells In Touch. But one of her most ravishing
looks to date was the J. Mendel gown Brooklyn donned to the Sydney, Australia, premiere. "She loves J. Mendel," says Ladino. "She likes things with a little edge."

Of course, her Stella McCartney ensemble for the Tokyo premiere didn't disappoint either. "It was so sleek and modern," raves Ladino. Thankfully, Brooklyn still has the North and South America Battleship press tours, so we are sure to see many more fashionably fierce styles.

Alex Rodriguez Speaks Kindly Of Cameron Diaz

Alex Rodriguez Speaks Kindly Of Cameron Diaz

Talk about a nice guy! Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz always kept their relationship hush-hush during their time together, but now that they've split the Yankees star is ready to open up about his ex (at least a little bit). And he has nothing but sweet things to say about his former leading lady.

"I don't like talking about my relationships," Rodriguez tells The Insider (via Page Six). "But I will tell you about CD (his pet name for Diaz): She's probably one of the greatest human beings I've ever met, and just an amazing light."

The couple was in an on-again, off-again relationship from July 2010 to September 2011. They ultimately split because they were too dedicated to their professional lives, but Rodriguez has since gone on to find love with Torrie Wilson.

When asked if he would ever marry again, Rodriguez seemed hesitant. He was married to wife Cynthia for six years, but ended up getting a divorce in 2008. Apparently he's planning on modeling his personal life after a certain Oscar-winning, marriage-flouting celebrity from here on out to avoid any more relationship issues.

"I'm not sure," he says. "I think my new hero is George Clooney. He's my new role model. I think he's done it right."

Does he mean the refusing to get married again part, or is he referring to the fact that he and Clooney are both dating former professional female wrestlers? We're guessing the former, but he can at least get away with telling Wilson that he meant Clooney was doing it right by dating an esterwhile WWE star. After all, Torrie is close friends with Clooney's girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

'Five-Year Engagement': The Reviews Are In!

Critics agree that talented cast of Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Chris Pratt and Alison Brie brings honest script to life.
By Fallon Prinzivalli

"The Five-Year Engagement," starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, doesn't adhere to the same predictable romantic-comedy formula audiences are used to seeing. It doesn't open with a comedic meet-cute, and there's no quirky first date: The film follows Violet Barnes (Blunt) and Tom Solomon (Segel) after they're already engaged.

When we meet the characters, their hurdle is how to survive a long engagement due to Violet's budding postdoctoral career.

While some critics believe the movie is a half-hour too long, most agree that the talented cast of comedians brings the honest, insightful script to life. While "Five-Year Engagement" may not be the "Bridesmaids" of 2012, the reviews suggest the film will be a weekend hit.

The Story
"The first 45 minutes or so of 'The Five-Year Engagement,' which Segel wrote with director Nicholas Stoller ('Get Him to the Greek'), pop and zing with both comic fizz and refreshing authenticity. Set to a delicious soundtrack dominated by Van Morrison standards, Tom's and Violet's lives feel more real than the usual Hollywood confections." — Ann Hornaday, Washington Post

The Cast
"This Judd Apatow-produced romantic comedy bares familiar Apatow markings — bawdy humor, crass jokes, coarse language — but steers clear of gross-out gags. Sweetness wins out in the end, and the film gets by on the charm of its leads and a stellar supporting cast, led by 'Parks and Recreation's' Chris Pratt." — Adam Graham, Detroit News

"This seems like another breakthrough for Blunt, who demonstrates an ample gift for physical comedy. She and Segel make an inspired team." — Lou Lumenick, New York Post

"Alison Brie ... with a British accent and a high-octane goofiness that will astonish those who know her best as Trudy Campbell on 'Mad Men' pretty much steals the whole movie as Violet's fertile, impulsive sister." — A.O. Scott, New York Times

The Script
"Every scene in 'The Five-Year Engagement' — virtually every part of every scene — is carefully crafted to introduce an original comic situation, work it and build on it. The movie is a precision instrument with no parts jammed together, just everything smooth and functioning. Take a moment to notice the actual work going on here, and you'll be impressed at the skill. Even then, you'll be dragged back into the picture's spell in less than a minute. ... The screenplay doesn't pump up the stakes; it makes nothing extreme. These are just two people, and this is the drama of the everyday. The filmmakers trust that you'll be interested in what happens to the couple, and in return they keep it honest." — Mike LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle

The Final Word
"A scene, late in the film, with [Violet and Suzie] trying to have an adult talk in front of Suzie's kids is a laugh riot, mostly because Suzie speaks in the voice of Elmo while Violet does Cookie Monster. OK, you have to be there, but the moment is memorably hilarious. 'The Five-Year Engagement' is like that, moving in fits and starts, but building a rooting interest in its characters that slaps a goofy smile on your face and keeps it there." — Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

Kristen Stewart Lines Up Edgy New Role in "Cali"

Ready to expand her career now that she's finished off her "The Twilight Saga" filming obligations, Kristen Stewart has reportedly lined up an edgy new role.

Elise Testone on American Idol Elimination: Shocking!

Elise Testone didn't see it coming.

The 28-year old crooner told reporters, soon after her elimination from American Idol last night, that she felt "completely successful... in every aspect" with her rendition of Jimi Hendrix's "Bold as Love" and was surprised when she heard her name called by Ryan Seacrest.

Still: "I accepted what happened to me as soon as it happened,” she said. “I just thought, ‘What’s next? What am I going to do now?’”

But while Testone looks to the future, she does have something to say about the past; namely, the judges' critiques.

"Some things [the judges] say don't line up with what I feel I've learned on my own," Testone said. "I don't always feel like [their feedback] was helpful. I'm not saying I'm the best. I don't think for the most part it always made sense."

Fair enough. And what does she have planned next?

"I'm going to reach out to everyone. [Queen's] Brian May and I are pretty much best friends now, so we're going to hang out. Ellen [DeGeneres], we're pretty much homegirls. I haven't met her yet, but she tweeted me and said she loves me."

What do you think, Idol viewers? Do you agree with Elise's ousting?

'30 Rock' Cast Plays Charades with Jimmy Fallon

'30 Rock' Cast Plays Charades with Jimmy Fallon

The thing we love most about 30 Rock is the way that everything the cast does feels like an episode of the show, even if it takes place in real life.

Take for instance their visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday. Jimmy challenged guests Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer to a heated round of charades, and hilarity ensued. Watch below!

Fallon's first mistake was putting Fey, Baldwin and McBrayer on one team, and taking Krakowski and Morgan for his own. Fey is known as the pop-culture mastermind behind 30 Rock, so it would make sense that she would be the strongest player on her team. But Fallon would have been smarter to offset that by teaming her with Morgan, who adorably bumbled his way through charades (just wait until his attempt to show Death of a Salesman). Instead, Fey, Baldwin and McBrayer duly trounced their opponents in the opening rounds.

We learned some pretty amazing things from this entertaining game. Firstly, all one needs to do to illustrate Keeping Up with the Kardashians is gesture at one's behind -- so thank you for that lesson, Krakowski. Secondly, Morgan had no idea what "Pour Some Sugar on Me" was because it was "after my time" going to strip clubs. And lastly, McBrayer is the teammate we want playing with us forever and always.

Of course, it wouldn't be a visit from Tracy Morgan without some hilariously un-PC stuff coming out of his mouth. We won't spoil it for you, but it has something to do with his love of Planet of the Apes and Charlton Heston driving him to school. We still can't quite believe he said that on national television.
