'Office' Spin-Off 'Not Necessarily A Thing Yet'

'It's just an idea,' writer and co-star B.J. Novak tells MTV News at the SAG Awards.

When Steve Carell's Michael Scott left "The Office" last spring, no one really knew who would helm the Scranton Branch of Dunder Mifflin. Eventually the company hired from within and that coveted managerial spot went to Andy Bernard, played by "The Hangover" star Ed Helms. Just as goofy and perhaps less bumbling than his predecessor, week after week Bernard has used his Cornell University education to try to be the glue that keeps the office together.

When MTV News caught up with writer and castmate B.J. Novak on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday night, he teased that the show still has some legs and that, even eight seasons in, there's still some surprises up the sleeves of the writers on the long-running NBC comedy, even as they think about how the show might wrap up someday.

"We have some things in mind how Jim and Pam might end up, and how Dwight might end up, and how Andy and Erin might end up," he said. "And I've always had a vision for how Creed ends up, and it's not pretty. But we're still feeling it out. We're still kind of learning the dynamics in the post-Steve Carell era and hopefully we'll find a lot of new surprises."

There is, however, lots of talk that one of those folks will get their own spin-off in the coming years. Last week, sources said that a Dwight Schrute spin-off is in the works and that it would focus on Rainn Wilson's character and his life at Schrute Farms, incorporating other members of the eccentric Schrute family. But any plans for that show are mysterious to Novak. "It's just an idea and I'm not involved in it," he said. "And I'm interested to see how they develop it, but it's not necessarily a thing yet. It's just an idea."

Guns N' Roses Announce Six U.S. Tour Dates

Axl Rose and company to revisit NYC venue where they performed their 'Live at the Ritz' concerts 24 years ago.

All that's old is new again. Axl Rose and his revamped Guns N' Roses will revisit their beloved New York when they launch their Northeast tour in February.

In 2011, the band completed a sold-out international tour and will kick off 2012 with a series of intimate shows in the States, starting with New York. Beginning February 10, they will perform a three-show series in the city, the cornerstone of which will be at the club Webster Hall, which was originally called the Ritz. This is where GN'R played one of their most famous concerts, "Live at the Ritz," in 1998. For their return, the venue will revert to its original name, complete with new signage and marquee, and fans can wax nostalgic about the days when Guns were the biggest band on the planet.

Additional cities include Chicago; Silver Spring, Maryland; and Atlantic City, New Jersey. No word yet if more dates will be announced.

The stark difference this time around is that the original members of the group — namely Duff McKagan, Slash and Izzy Stradlin — will not be there. Axl remains the only original member in this latest incarnation of GN'R, and the latest crew has yet to release a new album. The last Guns N' Roses release was back in 2008 with Chinese Democracy.

McKagan currently lives in Seattle and has had success with his bands Velvet Revolver and Loaded, while the top-hat-wearing Slash, who was also in Velvet Revolver, has guested on tracks from Michael Jackson and Rihanna and is a major figure in the "Guitar Hero" video games.

Guns N' Roses tour dates, according to a press release:

» 2/10 - New York, NY @ Roseland Ballroom
» 2/12 - New York, NY @ Terminal 6
» 2/15 - New York, NY @ The Ritz (Webster Hall)
» 2/19 - Chicago, IL @ House of Blue
» 2/23 - Silver Spring, MD @ The Fillmore
» 2/24 - Atlantic City, NJ @ House of Blues

Jesse Csincsak's Bachelor Recap: Episode 4

abcbach1_wide.jpg
Park City I have to say I was pretty impressed with the normalness of this week?s dates. It was almost refreshing. Other than the helicopter ride and the pretending not to know about a previously set-up crater repel, it was a pretty rad week! Well done.

Rachel?s One-on-One
Rachel?s one-on-one was nice. I mean, a canoe and a day on a mountain lake ? that?s my kind of date. It was cool to see her enjoy the normalness of that date, showing she is a down-to-earth girl who can enjoy the simple things in life! I liked that she mentioned how warm the wood burner in the yurt was. It shows that she was paying attention and wasn?t just there for the glitz and glam of the cameras and the romantic scenario! Well-played in my book, Rachel, and you got the rose!

Before I discuss this group date, can I just say that if we are going to keep recycling Bachelor contestants to be the next Bachelor/ette (like Emily Maynard), can we at least use someone who is really interested in falling in love? Like Kacie B ? she is so down-to-earth and normal and seems like such a nice girl!

Group Date: Fly Fishing
Samantha, did you not say on the horseback ride on the group date, ?OMG, I am totally scared to death of horses!? What planet are you from? Our country was founded on horseback. Pull it together, blondie. I would have sent you home on that horse! Right from the river! Here is strike two and three for you! Who says, ?I have been on three group dates with Ben and I already feel like I should have a ring on my finger?? Did we miss something or did you? Let me rephrase: You are what?s wrong with American women! Get to know the guy before you try to bear his children, for god sakes!
I have to say I clapped when Ben sent Samantha home. I have mad respect for people who act on what?s happening in the moment and that?s what Ben did. No need to wait for Chris Harrison and the rose ceremony.

Jennifer?s One-on-One
Okay, so this week?s dates were pretty normal and not so produced, but the beginning of this one was as produced as they come! Oh, look, some no- trespassing signs. Oh, look, it?s a crater. Oh, look, $500 worth of climbing rope and some carabiners. Let?s repel into it! Oh, you brought your bathing suit ? great! Although a fun date, why pretend? Let?s just say, hey, we spent the last six hours setting this date up with our crew of 30 producers. In any event, it looked fun and I liked that Jennifer was down and didn?t act like a sissy about it. Props to her and it paid off ? you got the rose!

Cocktail Party
Ben says next week they?ll fly to Puerto Rico. Courtney opens her beak and says she was just there last month. Courtney, I would have taken your rose back, walked out front, pulled Monica out of the limo and put you in there! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

Next Week: Puerto Rico
The busiest guy on next week?s show is going to be the guy who has to put the little black boxes over people?s hoohas and ding-dongs.

Until next week, I AM OUT!

Exclusive: Foo Fighters Go For Gold In Grammy Promo

MTV News brings you a first look at 30-second spot, debuting Tuesday.
By Kara Warner

The countdown to the 2012 Grammys is on.

Last week, we got a sneak peek at a few promo photos of host LL Cool J and nominees Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift. This week, MTV News has landed an exclusive first look at the television ad campaign featuring the 25-time-nominated Foo Fighters, who are up for six Grammys this year, including Album of the Year and Best Rock Album for Wasting Light.

Check out the complete list of 2012 Grammy nominees.

The 30-second teaser, which debuts Tuesday night on CBS, opens with an aerial shot overlooking a bejeweled city, reminiscent of the Emerald City from "Wizard of Oz" but all in gold, not green. Over the opening notes of the Foo track "Bridge Burning," the camera starts to zoom in toward the center of the city, with the gem-like walls exploding into pieces around the shot. From the golden and dusty debris, the Foos emerge individually rocking out to the song. First Taylor Hawkins, then Dave Grohl, followed by Chris Shiflett, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear.

The promo ends with the Grammy slogan — "We Are Music" — etched into the rock formations.

According to a statement from the Recording Academy, the focus of this year's ad campaign is on the "raw emotion in music that connects fans and artists and transcends the Grammy stage. It's that moment where the artist is ready to push the music out and the fan is ready to receive — that's the true power of music."

The stylized visuals in the video spots are aimed at exposing and enhancing the emotions of this year's nominees and their songs.

In addition to the promo featuring the Foo Fighters, look out for additional spots from TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles with Adele, Bon Iver and Skrillex, as well as the print campaign, which features Grammy winners and current nominees Bruno Mars and Paul McCartney.

The 54th annual Grammy Awards air live Sunday, February 12, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

What do you think of the Foo Fighters promo? Let us know in the comments!

Demi Moore's Friends Say She's Doing Great

Demi Moore's Friends Say She's Doing Great

Demi Moore is having a tough week, but her Hollywood pals have every confidence that she'll pull through. The actress was rushed to the hospital last Monday after suffering a seizure (likely a bad reaction to some kind of drug). Is she falling apart after her separation from Ashton Kutcher? No, say friends -- it's just a minor bump in the road.

"I just saw her and she's doing great. I think she's doing much better than it's made out to be," director Patti Jenkins told E! News at the Directors Guild Awards on Saturday night. "Demi is awesome and so strong. I also hate when people make it a bigger drama than what is going on. She's great."

Talking to the press at Maksim Chmerkovskiy's birthday party on Friday, Kirstie Alley echoed the sentiment that Moore is stronger than she may appear.

"Demi is a smart, insightful girl and she will work through it," said the comedienne. "I have no doubts. I love Demi. She'll work it out."

Alley's former Dancing with the Stars partner said that he feels for Demi, especially since she has to face her problems in the public eye.

"It's sad that a lot of stuff is public knowledge," said Chmerkovskiy. "With situations like this, you could deal without everybody knowing about it. From what I know of her and from people who know her say, she's an amazing, strong woman and I hope she'll be all right."

Another guest at the party, Sherri Shepherd, added that Moore is "a survivor" who "will get back up and get through this."

While everyone has pretty much assumed that her impending divorce triggered Moore's crisis, it may not be that simple. A longtime friend of the actress told E! that it's "not just about Ashton," but about the compounded pressures of Hollywood.

"It's really more about the toll it takes on any ambitious woman in this town," says the friend. "Meaning constantly having to prove you're not just a pretty face but a talented actor, as well. Constantly having to prove you're a good mother, not just a celebutante around town who goes to parties instead of looking after her family. Having to stay sober in a town that's so not."

And though Kutcher has reportedly expressed concern about his ex, Demi's pal says he needs to look at the whole picture.

"I'm sure Ashton would like to think it's all about him," says the friend.

Moore's rep stated on Tuesday that the actress is "seeking professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."

Stars Hit Sundance!

sundance1_wide.jpg
Celebrities braved the snow and flocked to the Sundance Film Festival, but the films weren't the only hot tickets in Park City, Utah, this year.

The place to be seen in the day was definitely T-Mobile's The Village at the Lift where celebrities like Kate Bosworth, Liv Tyler and Victoria Justice could enjoy McCaf lattes, hit up the uber cool Puma Social Lounge or get Mac makeup touchups.

But what would Sundance be without mentioning the swag?! The biggest celebs were gifted everything from Soul headphones at the Miami Oasis Lounge, Solstice designer sunglasses at the Gen Art Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet, the new Nintendo 3DS at its gaming lounge and sexy DL1961 Premium Denim at the Talent Resources Suite. But the winner for the best celeb lounge had to be the Vevo Sorel lounge, where almost every hot celebrity stopped by even The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik, who received several of the brand's hottest snow boots. But the biggest swag of all was at the Fender Music Lodge where Emily Blunt was gifted a trip to Vomo Island Resort in Fiji!

In the evening, stars Christina Hendricks and Tommy Lee dined at ChefDance where some of the world's leading chefs prepared a different delicious menu every night. The best part was the Yogurtland station for dessert as guests left. After dinner, the hottest acts in music today such as Ludacris, Deadmau5 and OneRepublic preformed at Park City Live and Drake at Bing Bar. Common also hosted an exclusive Express concert for his Sundance film LUV.

Also worth mentioning were the Grey Goose Blue Door Lounge and Acura Studio which served as the exclusive A-List lounges for several film dinners and after-parties. Rashida Jones, James Marsden and Emma Roberts were all spotted partying the night away at the lounges while sipping cocktails til 2 a.m.

For the late-night celebs, the hotspot was the T-Mobile Presents Google Music at Tao. Nick Lachey, Drake, Paris Hilton and Kirsten Dunst were all spotted at the pop-up nightclub getting their groove on and trying not to be seen.

In addition to her successes as an actress and her respectable reputation, Reese Witherspoon is the envy of millions of Twilighters after working alongside superstar heartthrob Robert Pattinson in not one, but two films — not to mention the fact that she's kissed him too.

When MTV News caught up with Witherspoon recently as part of "MTV First: This Means War," we asked her the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of her "Water for Elephants" and "Vanity Fair" co-star.

"I would say [he is] the hardest-working person I've ever worked with, honestly," she said. "[He's] professional, hard-working, so appreciative, more grateful than I've ever seen anyone for where he is in life."

Pattinson dished details on how he prepped for his shirtless scene! Kristen Stewart got super embarrassed when looking back at her first MTV interview! Take a look back at the classic "MTV First: Breaking Dawn."

Given the fact that Witherspoon has been in the business for decades and experienced every facet of being famous, we asked her to weigh in on the current fan frenzy that surrounds Pattinson wherever he goes and how it may or may not affect a person.

"I've never experienced what he has — going to premieres and there's just millions of people waiting for him to touch them," she said. "I think it must be strange, but I don't even know how to process what he deals with and Kristen [Stewart] deals with. I don't know."

Justin Bieber revealed the secrets behind his "Mistletoe" music video and why his fans are perfect just the way they are in "MTV First: Justin Bieber."

The Oscar-winning actress said Pattinson handles his fame very well, despite the sometimes-chaotic circumstances. "[He's]a really cool guy," she said.

Don't miss our exclusive sit-down with Witherspoon during Tuesday's "MTV First: Reese Witherspoon." Tune in to MTV at 7:56 p.m. ET, when the actress will premiere a previously unseen clip from her upcoming film "This Means War," followed by an in-depth interview on MTV.com.

Before "MTV First: This Means War" hits MTV on Tuesday at 7:56 p.m. ET, check out Reese's first-ever, totally adorable MTV interview, when she opened up in 1991 at the age of 14 about what drew her to Hollywood. And make sure to stick with Reese's chat when it moves to MTV.com after an exclusive "This Means War" clip premieres Tuesday on MTV!

Rooney Mara Takes Lead In Steven Soderbergh?s ?Side Effects?

Mike Flemingpost thumbnail EXCLUSIVE: In her first lead role since her Oscar-nominated turn in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Rooney Mara has just committed to starring in Side Effects, the Steven Soderbergh-directed thriller. Mara will replace Blake Lively in a film that also stars Jude Law, Channing Tatum and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Mara plays Emily Hawkins, a sexy but unsettled young woman who is taking serious amounts of prescription drugs to deal with anxiety and depression surrounding the pending release of her husband from prison. Her husband has been in prison for three years and after taking a new medicine she was prescribed, she unknowingly murders her husband and stands trial for murder. Scott Z. Burns wrote the script, and Open Road will distribute in the U.S. It looked like Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures would be financier, but I have been hearing that is a bit shaky. Greg Jacobs and Lorenzo di Bonaventura are producing. Shooting begins in April. Since her breakout performance as Lisbeth Salander, Mara has been courted for several major roles, including the female lead in the Kathryn Bigelow film about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. That film clashed with her promotional schedule on Dragon Tattoo. Mara is currently in Tokyo promoting the film. She is repped by WME and attorney Neil Meyer.

Happy 58th Birthday Oprah!

Today, Oprah Winfrey celebrates her 58th birthday.  Come inside and celebrate the postive impact she's had on the lives of many...

It was a huge year for Oprah.  Though her network got off to a slow start, she did end 25 years of her legendary talk show that turned many authors, inventors and ordinary people into millionaires and celebrities.

Putting phrases and words like "A Ha Moment," "walking in your truth," and "emotional integrity" into the everyday lexicon, she's helped shaped the way we live, think and speak.

Not bad for a little black girl from Mississippi.  In the words of Maya Angelou from the last "Oprah" show....

"Oprah....loving....giving....caring. Oprah! Oprah! Oprah!"

Wonder what bestie Gayle is getting her.  Celebrate Ms. Oprah in the gallery......

Giuliana Rancic on Recovering from Breast Cancer

Giuliana Rancic on Recovering from Breast Cancer

Just six weeks after her double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, Giuliana Rancic is making strides to reclaim her life.

Though the E! News host -- who revealed she had breast cancer in October -- has jumped back into work and is hitting the award-season red carpet, she admits that the first week following her surgery (which she elected to do after a double lumpectomy failed to eliminate the cancer) felt like she’d been “hit by a truck. It’s emotionally draining, it’s physically draining, it’s psychologically draining,” she tells iVillage. “I would never have been believed that in five weeks I would feel so good.”

The TV host, 37, has been grateful for the support of her husband Bill Rancic and the fans who’ve reached out to her -- and have in turn inspired her. When iVillage sat down with her at a Glade Expressions event she hosted in New York City recently, she spoke honestly about her recovery, where she is on her quest to have children and why she’s thankful for the decision she made to take her life into her hands.

Have you been amazed about the outpouring of support since you were diagnosed with breast cancer?
I had no idea going into this that people would be as supportive as they were, and it warms my heart. It’s really nice to see that people have reached out and care and have told me about their own stories and that they’ve gotten mammograms due to my story. I actually know of a few cases of women who found out through my story that they had breast cancer. They’re all in their 30s and you know as much as that breaks my heart, they assured me that they’re happy that they found it early. They have a tough road ahead of them but thank God they caught it early. It makes me happy that I shared my story.

You’re doing a service for a lot of people by sharing your story.
Aw, thank you. I’m happy to do it.

What was the toughest part of the breast-cancer diagnosis and the mastectomy?
I think all of it. Obviously, the toughest part of the diagnosis is hearing you have it. Things get a little better from there because that’s your lowest point. The first week after the (mastectomy) was pretty awful. But you turn a corner after about a week and every day you start getting better and you start seeing hope. You have hope, whereas that first week you’re just going, “Oh my god, what happened to me? I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck.” It’s emotionally draining, it’s physically draining, it’s psychologically draining. But that was five weeks ago and I already feel much better today. It’s incredible. I would never have been believed that in five weeks I would feel so good.

Did this bring up any body issues after what you went through with the mastectomy? And how did you cope with it?
You know, it’s funny. Before the mastectomy, I thought to myself, “Okay, I’m not going to like my body as much as I did before but that’s a price I’m willing to pay for my health. You know, I want to be around.” But I look in the mirror and I see the scars and I kind of see the surgery and it’s really easy to fall into like a sad place. But I think to myself, “Wow, I took my health into my own hands. I made a major decision to just survive and live and be healthy.” And these scars will always remind me of that and I feel empowered by my scars. I do, I really do. And people will tell me when they saw me at the Globes or they’ll see me at events, “You look better now than you did before surgery.” (Laughs.)

I just feel like I did a really good thing, you know what I mean? I made a choice that wasn’t based on vanity I took my health into my own hands. I just made a choice to live and I’m so happy that I made that choice. I don’t regret it at all, I’m really happy I did it.

Talk to me about Bill, and what his support has meant for you.
Five weeks after my surgery I’m in a really good place and I don’t think I would be in this place if it weren’t for Bill. Bill went above and beyond his call of duty of being a husband. The best thing I think Bill did and what more husbands need to do is he would ask me, “Do you need anything?” and I would say no and then he’d ask me again and I’d say no and he’d ask me again. I think that’s important because women are the ones who are used to kind of putting the Band-Aid on the kid’s knee or taking care of our husbands. “Oh, honey, you feel sick. Let me go out and get you medicine.” It’s really hard for us to say, “I feel sick. Take care of me.” A lot of times the husband will ask one time and you say “I’m fine” and they walk away. But Bill was very good at really driving home the fact that I want to help you, I’m here for you and let me take care of you.

Where are you in the process...
With kids? As Bill says, one marathon at a time. You know, we’re trying to get through this marathon. Do we want kids one day? Absolutely. How we’re going to get them we’re not sure yet. But yeah, we want kids. We’ll have little Rancics one day, for sure. But right now, to be honest, we’re not doing anything with the kid stuff. We’re just trying to focus on really getting past this all, getting back to work and just kind of trying to move on from it a little bit.

Madonna To Debut 'Luvin' Teaser On 'American Idol'

Full-length video for Madge's new tune will premiere day after Thursday's 'AI' episode.

Madonna is truly an "American Idol," so it's probably fitting that the Queen of Pop has chosen the Fox reality show to debut a tease of the highly anticipated video for her upcoming single "Give Me All Your Luvin'. "

"AI" will premiere a preview of the video during Thursday's episode, a day before its proper debut on Friday, which also happens to be the day the single hits iTunes (a version was leaked late last year). Fans will finally get to hear Madge, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. in all their sassiness. (Oh, yeah, Madonna's film "W.E." hits theaters that day too!)

Along with producer Martin Solveig, Madge, Nicki and M.I.A all co-wrote "Give Me All Your Luvin', " while the "W.E." director was also onboard to co-produce the track. "Luvin" is the lead single off her upcoming album, M.D.N.A., which is now set to drop on March 26, according to Idolator.

Fans are just getting a glimpse of new artwork for the single, which features Madge sporting only a sweater in a trio of shots. On each sweater, there's a star and a portion of the song's title. In one shot, Madge has her eyes closed with her lips pursed together. In another, she's shouting; and in the third image, she has her hands in her hair, eyes closed and a smile on her face.

Other production credits for the album include William Orbit, the Demolition Crew, Marco "Benny" Benassi and Alessandro "Alle" Benassi, Hardy "Indiigo" Muanza and Michael Malih.

Madonna recently spoke to MTV News about working with Orbit. "With William, I didn't really have a discussion," she said. "We've worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other's sentences. He knows my taste and what I like. Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together."

Not enough Madonna for you? Well, she'll hit the stage for the Super Bowl halftime show next Sunday, February 5, where, rumor has it, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj, Cee Lo Green and LMFAO will join her. While we don't know much about her performance, the pop superstar teased that it would include a lot of pom poms.

Are you excited to hear the official version of "Give Me All Your Luvin' "? Tell us on our Facebook page!

Demi Moore Replaced By Mary-Louise Parker In 'Lovelace'

In other Demi news, Madonna reportedly reaches out to actress after her hospitalization.

Editor's note: While Us Weekly originally reported that "Weeds" star Mary-Louise Parker would replace Demi Moore as Gloria Steinem in "Lovelace," the filmmakers have confirmed to MTV News that Moore's actual replacement is Sarah Jessica Parker.

Amid her personal woes, Demi Moore, who had been set to play Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic, has been replaced by "Weeds" star Mary-Louise Parker.

Sources confirm to UsMagazine.com that the TV star will fill in for Moore, who had to drop out of the film earlier this week after she was hospitalized for "exhaustion." On Thursday, there was speculation that Chloë Sevigny would play the feminist icon when she was cast as a feminist journalist, but now it seems that those are two different roles.

"Lovelace" is currently shooting in Los Angeles with Amanda Seyfried playing the film's central character, '70s porn actress Linda Lovelace.

As the Demi drama rolls on, there are reports that Madonna reached out to the actress shortly after she was hospitalized. Moore has since been released from the L.A.-area hospital.

Sources tells E! News that the singer called her actress pal. "Madonna told Demi she was there if she needs anything," the E! source says, adding, "They're pretty tight."

The ladies last hung out during Golden Globes weekend, and they reportedly were going to see one another again over Super Bowl weekend; Madge is slated to perform during the halftime show. The status of their annual post-Oscars bash is currently up in the air.

While speculation runs rampant about why Moore was hospitalized, sources say that her ex, Ashton Kutcher, is "deeply concerned" for her. Moore is rumored to have been doing nitrous oxide before landing in the hospital. "He still cares about her and wants the best for her," the source added. "But their marriage is ending and they are both moving on with their lives."

Lisa Vanderpump Real Housewives Video

Ah, weddings. The planning, the guests and in the case of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the drama. Though Lisa Vanderpump's daughter Pandora's big day went off without a hitch, she caught some flack afterwards for wearing a tiara -- even though the mother of the bride only donned the headpiece to make her daughter happy.

"I think that just gets bitchy. It's like, 'Oh, why would she do this?' There's no way I have any intention of upstaging my daughter. I don't have that relationship with her," the 51-year-old socialite and restaurateur tells iVillage exclusively about the wedding, which aired on the Real Housewives season finale on Monday. "She bought me the tiara."

And though he wasn't an actual Housewife this season, larger-than-life wedding planner Kevin Lee became one of the most-talked-about characters on the show. "He actually drove me crazy going through the motions of it because we were on different pages. He was like, 'Oh, million-dollar wedding!' And I was like, "No, not million-dollar anything,'" I think Kevin actually does know his job incredibly well and I was thrilled with him even though I could've strangled him."

Watch our exclusive video to find out how the Real Housewives star felt about the drama-packed season and her hilarious explanation for how she came up with her daughter Pandora's name.

The first episode of the three-part cast reunion of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Jan. 30 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Lana Del Rey's Born To Die: The Reviews Are In!

Despite all the hype and controversy, critics are pretty impressed by Del Rey's atmospheric music.
By Gil Kaufman

The now-infamous "Saturday Night Live" performance fail. All the hype about her looks, her path to the spotlight and the obligatory album leak a week before her debut dropped.

Lana Del Rey survived a lifetime's worth of slings and arrows before her major-label debut, Born to Die, was even released. But now that it's officially out, critics have had a chance to listen to the atmospheric tracks she's put together, and for the most part, they're pretty impressed.

The Chicago Tribune gave it two out of four stars and said the finished product is not always as interesting as the run-up to its release. "[The album] positions itself as a knowing retro commentary. It borrows heavily from B movies starring various second- and third-level 'Rebel Without a Cause' bad boys on motorcycles, string-drenched 'Last Kiss' pop tunes in which young lovers die in each other's arms, beehived teens-with-attitude declaring, 'He hit me and it felt like a kiss,' " music critic Greg Kot wrote. While Kot said Del Rey wishes to be taken seriously as "the bad girl in a gown, the cabaret singer with a masochistic streak," he said she's not always up to the task, even as he praised her distinctive, draggy vocal delivery and the dramatic, eerie arrangements from producer Emilie Haynie.

Over at BBC, the focus was squarely on the music, saying above and beyond the drama, Born to Die is about "something older and more mysterious than that; the extraordinary, resilient power of the pop song." The reviewer lamented that nothing on the 12-track album quite reaches the exquisite bummerness of lead single "Video Games," with several of the songs running "perilously close, while revealing there's more to her than the love-stunned torch singer [of that song]." What makes the album so fascinating and sets Del Rey apart from the typical "I'm hot, you're hot" pop tart is her "preoccupation with Hollywood archetypes of American femininity, and her ability to shape-shift between them."

MTV News' own James Montgomery believed the hype, writing that the album was "positively brimming with atmospherics — soaring, sonorous strings, echoing electronic boom-bap, morose, maudlin guitar crescendos — all of which imbue it with a truly epic (if not unnecessarily dramatic) scope." For him, the album is a "thrilling headphone experience" that sounds like the $1 million he suspected it cost to make.

The U.K.'s Guardian also praised the "sumptuous" orchestration and Del Rey's "fine" voice. But after being impressed by the "beguiling description of a mundane love" affair in "Video Games," the reviewer said the album's other lyrics are "incredibly heavy-handed in their attempts to convince you that Lana del Rey is the doomed but devoted partner of a kind of Athena poster bad boy, all white vest, cheekbones and dangling ciggie." If anything, the Guardian critic didn't buy the Del Rey tough-girl personality and said the best bet is to mostly ignore the lyrics and focus on "how magnificently most of the melodies have been constructed."

Halle Berry Lands BRAND NEW SHOE LINE!

Halle Berry is putting her laid back and casual yet sexy style to good use.  She's giving other ladies the chance to look like her...well, at least their feet will.

Pics of Halle debuting her new shoe designs inside...

Halle, who juggles being an actress and mom to 3-year-old Nahla, loves to keep it comfy.  And now she's teamed up with popular German retailer Deichmann Shoes to create her own shoe designs.  The Revlon spokeswoman did a fab private shoot in Germany this week to showcase her '5th Avenue by Halle Berry' collection:

In the commercial, we'll see Halle getting caught up in changing her outfits and shoes in her dressing room even though she's late to her film set.

The shoes are mostly and relatively low-heeled, wedged, and comfy but with a stylish edge moms of little ones could definitely appreciate.  Halle said about her creations:

"Women have always loved shoes. It's like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right.  If both of them are right, you're pretty much OK."

She continued:

"And shoes are a statement. They can be very sexy; they can say something about where you are in the day; they can say what your mood is; they give you a chance to accessorize.  And I'm a girl that loves to change my shoes all the time. It's an expression of who you are really. I'm a girl if I find a shoe that I really like I like to get them in all colours. I'm big on that."

What's her personal faves?  The 45-year-old Hollywood star revealed:

"I would say I'm a nude girl because this goes with everything. You can dress it up and dress it down.  I can't think of any girl who wouldn't want her name on a brand of shoes. I think that's pretty cool."

Halle's spring/summer range of 40 limited edition shoes will boast peep toes with wedge heels, mid-heeled sandals with straps and mid and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.

The shoes go on sale in the UK in early March with prices starting at £29.99.

BONUS: Halle's baby's daddy Gabriel Aubry has agreed to go to anger management classes in light of the assault charges filed on him by Nahla's nanny.

Fran Drescher: I Was Abducted, Probed by Aliens!

Who would have guessed that the strangest thing about actress Fran Drescher would NOT be her voice?

In an interview with The Huffington Post late this week, the former star of The Nanny said she and ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson "both saw [aliens] before we know each other."

Fran Drescher Picture

"I think that somehow we were programmed to meet," she said. "We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot."

Jacobson, of course, says Drescher's scar is due to an accident that involved a drill bit or a hot cup of water, not extraterrestrials.

But the actress is adamant: "That's what the aliens programmed us to think," she says. "But really, that's where the chip is."

Katherine Heigl Has 'Thought A Lot' About Return To 'Grey's Anatomy'

'There's nothing about [Izzie] I didn't like,' Heigl tells MTV News at 'One for the Money' premiere.
By Christina Garibaldi

NEW YORK — It's been more than two years since Katherine Heigl left her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on the hit show "Grey's Anatomy." Rumors swirled that Heigl had behaved like a diva on the set, and after five seasons she left to focus on her movie career and being a mom to her adopted daughter.

Yet it seems she's had a change of heart. At the New York premiere of her new flick "One for the Money," which hits theaters on Friday, Heigl told MTV News she would love to return to "Grey's Anatomy" to find out what happened to her beloved character.

"There was something about her that I really loved. I thought she was such an interesting character and her backstory, the fact that she was raised in a trailer park and had to give a child up for adoption, put herself through med school and was standing there actually doing the work and going for it, so smart, sort of strong-willed," Heigl said. "I thought she was kind of a great character — there's nothing about her I didn't like."

Back in October 2010 Heigl told MTV News that she was certain she would not return to Seattle Grace since she didn't want to feel her plotline was forced. "I can't think of any way that she could come back gracefully that wouldn't just feel manipulative," the actress explained. "And it's hard, because I really wonder what she's doing and where she is and what happened, but that is over for me now."

Yet Heigl now seems ready to reconsider and already has an idea of what could happen to Izzie. "I've thought about this a lot, actually. I would love it if Izzie came back actually having really just sort of gotten to the next level," Heigl said. "She was always sort of one step behind and struggling with her career, and then she went though all these awful things, the death of her friend, the death of her fiancé, her own near death and then the dissolving of her own marriage. I just want the girl to win, just once. So I want her to come back and have really succeeded at whatever hospital she went to work at with her tail between her legs and maybe they've made her head of surgery or she's invented some surgical method; that would be awesome."

With all the ups and downs she experienced on "Grey's Anatomy," there is one thing she wish she could change: her acting. "I think there's a lot of scenes where I wish I had performed them better," Heigl said.

"You're always like, 'Oh, I wish I could take that back.' "

Would you be excited if Katherine Heigl returned to "Grey's Anatomy"? Let us know in the comments!

Demi Moore Replaced By Sarah Jessica Parker In 'Lovelace'

Mary-Louise Parker not stepping in as Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic, as had been reported.

A report from Us Weekly on Friday (January 27) claimed that "Weeds" star Mary-Louise Parker was stepping in to replace Demi Moore in "Lovelace." However, according to a press release, a different Parker — Sarah Jessica Parker — will step in for Moore as Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic.

Moore dropped out of the film earlier this week after being hospitalized for "exhaustion," and the search for her replacement began soon afterward. The film, which is currently filming in Los Angeles, stars Amanda Seyfried as the famous 1970s porn star.

Photos: Demi Moore through the years.

On Thursday, actress Chloë Sevigny joined the cast of "Lovelace" as a journalist, sparking speculation that she could be the one to replace Moore. When sources confirmed to Us Weekly that Mary-Louise Parker would take the role of Steinem, this no longer appeared to be the case. Hours after Us' initial report, the film's directors, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman ("Howl"), confirmed with Entertainment Weekly that Sarah Jessica Parker was Moore's true replacement, declaring the previous report erroneous. A press release announcing the news was sent to MTV News shortly thereafter.

Moore officially left the film Tuesday amid controversy surrounding her hospitalization, which a rep for the actress referred to as Moore's decision to "seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health." Since Moore's hospitalization, rumors have run rampant seeking an explanation for the medical emergency. Claims of drug and nitrous-oxide abuse arose shortly after word of the incident broke.
