"American Idol" Top 6 Hit It Off with Queen

The final six contestants on the hit show “American Idol” got the opportunity of a lifetime on Wednesday night (April 25) as they performed with the classic band, Queen.

The "Idol" hopefuls started out the evening with a pep talk from band members Roger Taylor and Brian May before following it up with a performance of “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions,” as Stevie Van Zandt of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band watched on from the audience.

Jessica Sanchez started out the competition by singing her rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which got a positive reaction from the judges and the crowd, with Randy Jackson telling her to watch Tina Turner videos to attain more of a rock star edge.

“The Show Must Go On” was the next performance by finalist Skylar Laine and the judges said that it was her “best performance to date.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez loved Elise Testone’s version of “I Want It All," as the sexy pop star said, “You found your stride. That was you in your element, the whole thing came together.”

Phillip Phillips belted out a rendition of “Fat Bottomed Girls” that really got the judges grooving, with Steven Tyler looking at Miss Lopez and jokingly saying, “Just goes to show you, the bigger the cushion, the bigger the cushion.”

The contestants finished off the night with their own song choices that included Phillips singing the Dave Matthews Band tune “The Stone” and Hollie Cavanagh opting for a rendition of Miley Cyrus’ single “The Climb.”
