2012 BRIT Awards: Red Carpet Roundup

It's one of the biggest night's of the year when it comes to European music celebrations, and the 2012 BRIT Awards are underway in London, England.

Held at the the O2 Arena, the proceedings are being hosted by James Corden with a red carpet packed with stars such as Nicole Scherzinger, Adele, Olly Murs, Emma Bunton, Victoria Justice and Cher Lloyd.

As for the award hopefuls, Ed Sheeran leads the pack with four chances at BRIT glory while Adele and Jessie J follow closely behind with three bids apiece.

Topping the showcase off are slated performances by the likes of Rihanna, Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, Bruno Mars, Blur and Adele.

Meanwhile, Emeli Sande has already been named the winner of the Critics' Choice while the show is also set to include tributes to late singers Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse.
