Adele Rocks the 2012 BRITs, Wins Album of the Year

Following her killer performance at the Grammys earlier this month, Adele had a lot to live up to when she took the stage earlier tonight (February 21) at the 2012 BRIT Awards.

And the English songbird was once again excellent in her vocal stylings, singing a marvelous rendition of her hit song "Rolling In the Deep".

Also the big winner of the evening, Adeles cored two of the three trophies ion which she was nominated including British Female Solo Artist and the grand prize of Mastercard British Album of the Year.

Prior to attending the BRITs, Adele told press she sees the awards show as something special among these types of events.

"I have a soft spot for The BRITs, but this year feels really special since last year it kick-started my album into what it's become. What a beautiful way to celebrate!"
