Robert Pattinson Jokes He'd "Lick the Pages" of '50 Shades of Grey'

Robert Pattinson sure knows how to make the ladies go wild. While promoting Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 at Comic-Con on Thursday, the star revealed what he'd do if confronted with the Twilight-inspired 50 Shades of Grey. 

While girlfriend Kristen Stewart has yet to confirm or deny whether she's read E.L. James' erotic trilogy, Pattinson had no problem speculating about his reaction to the books. When asked what he would do if the book was directly in front of him, Pattinson had a provocative reaction.

"I would just sit there and lick the pages," Pattinson, 26, laughingly told MTV's Josh Horowitz during an interview at the annual San Diego festival, adding, "What are we live on?" as he realized his response would gain some publicity.

Meanwhile, Stewart, 22, was decidedly less enthusiastic about the risque books. Asked if she, Pattinson, and costar Taylor Lautner, 20, could read the sex-filled 50 Shades for a book club together, she replied: "That would be disgusting."

While no one mentioned the couple's off-screen romance, Pattinson did describe kissing Stewart for the Twilight films.

"She always just kissed me and I'd always be like –-," Pattinson said while puckering his lips. "I just receive. I just receive pecks."
