Nelly Furtado Promotes Fifth Album at ITV Studios

Getting ready to drop her fifth studio album, Nelly Furtado made her way over to the ITV studios to promote "The Spirit Indestructible" in London, England on Friday (September 14).

Pulling back her hair to show off her pretty face, the "Promiscuous" songstress left the building wearing a belted black dress covered by a colorful scarf.

Known for raunchy lyrics, Nelly admitted to the Daily Mirror that she's changing her image for her daughter. In the interview she stated, ''From (Nevis' birth) forward I've been looking at my career in a more professional way. Before, I was just floating down the river and not really sure what I was doing. Writing-wise I keep her in mind - the tone of things, how I present myself.''

The 33-year-old also revealed she almost gave up on her musical career back in 2010 explaining, "I go through a phase like that every once in a while. I love music and I love making it, but I don't love the promotional side because it's draining creatively. It's like being a hamster on a wheel with no time to get off. But I usually work through those emotions, and what pulls me back is the music."
